Hmmm me too I cant bring myself to use stat changing moves I think that they're useless but they can change the game. I'm all power and I know that's a problem...

Stat changing moves are important.  I have a bunch on my team.  Will-o-wisp, for burns.  This is important because it lowers the opposing pokemon's attack and hurts them a little each turn.  Toxic, for poison.  Is extremely important, it does more damage over time.  Fantastic!  Finally I use confuse ray.  Which is a great move.  It has the chance for the defending pokemon to hurt itself and not only that.  It prevents them from moving.

"Ha ha ha.  Electro shock.  You rebels are really light on the torture end of things huh?

Standing up, I stretched out my body.  I picked up the tray of food and started eating- Hell, why waste food, even terrible food.

After eating I decided to take a nap.  I needed some rest.  I figured that without my powers, I could easily overpower a lowly guard if I had to.  That strange old robot, I wasn't so sure of.   

The floor opened up a few feet in front of Cyrus, and the leader of the Rebels, Grandpa Wrench, rose up on a platform. He stood on his cane, and began to analyze the man sitting in front of him.

Before you say or try anything, I just wanted to let you know a few things. We placed an inhibitor color on you. You can no longer use your powers while it is on, and the only key is in my possession. The other thing is we seized your weapon and armor to minimize any threat you may pose. What I want to know is, why did a paladin decide to steal an exclusive invitation, and travel here all alone? I can see and hear all, "ex-paladin". I heard the lies before, and I am not about to trust someone who murders.

Wrench tapped his cane on the ground, and a chair came up behind him. He took a seat, and it activated, forming a barrier around him. He was an old looking robot, but the way he talked showed that he had the heart, or rather, the mind of a human. Despite his appearance, he can manipulate machinery in a way that he can become the greatest weapon on earth, but he rather stay on peaceful methods.

Smiling, Cyrus made eye contact with the strange robot and began speaking.

"Well it's quite simple.  Your potential rebel got an upgrade.  I overheard him yelling about finally being invited.  After a friendly conversation, he handed me the letter.  He told me I'd be better suited to help out the cause...  Now I know it's strange.  Why was I wearing Paladin armor?  This answer is also simple.  I had dedicated my life to serving them.  It wasn't until recently that I had a change of heart.  I've recently discovered that I'm a failed experiment.  A failed weapon.  Because of this they decided to have me killed.  While I was escaping they killed the one person I'd ever cared for.  My fake mother.  My real parents were apparently rebels, who died in a Paladin attack.  Taking all of this into stock.  I came up with a new idea.  I'd join the rebellion and strike back at the ones who destroyed my life..."

Cyrus then paused a second, trying to hide the blood-lust in his thoughts.

"I would like to join you, in your fight against Utopia.  I would like nothing more than to see the ignorant inhabitants and their leaders freeze to death.  Oh and I'd like my armor back.  I'm quite fond of it.  It's protective and it moves well.  Also, I'd like to be wearing it when I kill every Paladin in existence.  I think it holds a nice irony, don't you?  And as for the pistol, while I hardly use it.  I have grown attached."

Cyrus stared at the strange robot awaiting a reply.

Sorry to interject.  But, dammit.  The education system in the states at least.  Needs a major overhaul.  I mean standardized testing is not a good measure of a students worth.  Also schools need to look at the differences of each student.  They usually leave it at this "The students are just to dumb."  (An actual quote from a teacher I once had.)

I also feel a students worth shouldn't be assessed by testing.  I'll use myself for an example. (It's also the moment I realized I wanted to be a teacher.)

I always excelled in math, music and history.  I had a hard time understanding how some kids just couldn't grasp basic math problems, like the pythagorean theorem.  I then sided with the people who push for standardized testing, I thought those kids were just dumb.  Then my world came crashing down.  In seventh grade, I had to start Spanish.  I- for the live of me.  Could not grasp it.  I studied 2 hours a night. (that's a lot for me, I usually only need like 20 min per subject)  And honestly I couldn't get it.  I only passed the regents because of my effort, and I only scored like a 68.  Which is awful. 

Now much to my surprise, there were a few students that excelled in Spanish.  And some of them were people I'd labeled as dumb, based on math and other subjects.  This is when I realized that not every student learns the same way, and not every student will excel in the same things.  That's when it hit me.  Education needed to be based on the needs, strengths and interests of the students.  Not what some suit and tie wearing dumbass said.

After that, I've decided to become a teacher.  I want to tailor my classes towards my students.  I want to help them learn, to explore what their strengths and interests are.  While using those strengths and interests to fuel their needs.  (Subjects they are weak in)  I want to feed off of those interests and strengths, and use them to help my students learn my subject.  (Whatever it ends up being, haven't decided between match and music yet)   

Fox, rebels don't carry lead weapons in courtesy of the mutanst, like monsters and chosen. They are also nice people, not hard douchebags. Yes, they are warriors, but if you're in the base, they will want to make friends with you, monster or not.

Speaking of that.  How do you think they'd react to what looks like a paladin approaching?
