First of all, you gave your Pokemon almost all attack moves. There is no strategy involved. I suggest going to Smogon University for some ideas on movesets, EVs, items, etc.

If you're not planning to play competitively, then this is a suggestion:

1: Piply (Empoleon) lvl 100.
Moves: Drill Peck, Surf, Aqua Jet, Flash Canon
Quick Claw

2: Shiny Mew lvl 100.
Moves: Me first, Nasty Plot, Psychic, Dark pulse.
Life Orb

3: Shiny Dragonite lvl 100
Moves: Surf, Outrage, Stone Edge, Roost
Leftovers

4: Venusaur lvl 100
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Leech Seed, Sleep Powder.
Salac Berry

5: Shiny Sala lvl 100.
Moves: Dragon Claw, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Outrage.
Choice Band/Scarf

6: Shiny Charizard lvl 100
moves: Heat Wave, Fly, Focus Blast, Solar Beam.
Power Herb

Honestly you're movesets, lack of items, and lack of apparent strategy kinda makes it hard to give help. I understand that this isn't a competative team (I'm assuming so) but your pokemon are already at lv 100...so I don't know what else you would use this team for o.o

Try thinking of a main core or strategy first then I think I can give you some advice. :P

Well yes but we don't know what better pokemon to suggest until we know what direction your team is going.

well I like to get the other trainer frustrated ( like not letting them hit me) and then hitting them hard and where it hurts.

Eh...wouldn't we all? Lol

Thats not really a startegy though haha. Are you trying to make a competative team?

no, not really. I would think that evassive moves are good though. except for protect. not useful at all in my opinion.

Actually, protect paired with toxic and a healing move is a killer combination.
Toxic, protect, roost, protect, roost, protect, roost, etc.

Well, if you're taking 5th gen too... then the one I made could have better moves...

But it would depend on your friend. I think that you can pull up some wins with your team, unless that friend of yours spends months on battle simulators and is experienced in competitive battling ::)

2nd that
Now... empoleon.. if you request that kind of "battle strategy," there isn't any hope for you. Do not think and OVER ESTIMATE moves that "seems" to be useless. That's one bad attitude you got there besides asking something that seems rather... impossible. So if you "do" plan on trying to fix your team, you may want to take the advise and not request something that is NOT possible.

in that case how about I just start from near scratch and leave Piply but toss the rest (because he is NOT going).

Then I would suggest building a team around your Empoleon. Give him support for a sweep. Empoleon still needs a whole new moveset though.

Personally, Your Pipy should go... It's already at level 100 and it's moveset is rather poor.  If you really want an empoleon, then breed Pipy.  Also any pokemon raised by rare candy is a poor choice, as they don't have near the stats they should.

Well I can change the moveset, it's a piece of cake. But on the topic of the rest of the team, I know somebody who bred a perfect dragonite and then raised him by hand. that could be a good idea right? It does take forever but that maskes them unstopable.

Yeah, ev training is a pain but worth it.

Bing is right you should probably get rid of Pipy and breed a new one.

This one takes some thought but, maybe it's for the best. But the new empoleon would have to be perfect in every way, aand even then he wouldn't be first. I was thinking a perfect wailord would go first.

you should level up your starter to an insane degree. get access to all regions and then pick your team for better options. i personally use feraligator, tyranitar, scizor, gengar, the famous red gyrados, and weavile.
