So I'm probably gonna buy a 360 next week and I would like to get some tips from awsome Coop-games. The game must be playable using splitscreen.
Peace out!

What games do you enjoy?
If you like FPS, I recommend Halo 3 (Not just because I'm a halo nerd/addict).
Not many other games have splitscreen, so I'm guessing this is what you're after.
-
left 4 dead (1 and 2)
fable 2
(not split screen, but both people play at the same time)
call of duty: modern warfare 2
thats all i can think of right now
-
Fairytale fights.
you can co-op and duel with friends. It is a hack'n'slice game with lots of blood.
It is not splitscreen although since it works similar to Super Smash melee and brawl.
-
Personally I loved Sonic the Hedgehog :P I might be a little over the target age but it's so simple and fun. Multiplayer features both co-op and competitve gameplay in split screen. The only thing is, story mode is only single player.

I downloaded a couple and I gotta say borderlands was really awsome and I recommend it!

This game got really bad reviews so I suggest maybe download or rent it first.

Borderlands is a really fun co-op. I've played it with 3 of my friends and beated it in 2 days(we played almost non-stop) The game is really short but theres expansions for it. I haven't checked them out yet.

I tried it once, mainly because my brother made me, but it was really fun, and plays exactly like CoD, except its an RPG.

My boyfriend got me hooked on Left 4 Dead [1 and 2], Stubbs The Zombie, and we occasionally played Fairytale Fights [I always liked being the little naked guy with the leaf on his crotch :] ]
Fairytale Fights isn't split screen, and it's easy to fall off ledges and whatnot. The characters appear very small when you're playing co-op.
Left 4 Dead is my personal favorite out of all of them. Many different modes and campaigns, plus you can play as the special infected and attack the survivors :] I wouldn't recomend playing the Spitter though... Very low hit points which sucks since you pretty much have to be a few feet away from the survivors in order to attack... Usually. I played this game every time I saw my boyfriend till his Xbox got the ring of death :[
Stubbs the Zombie is pretty interesting. You play as an infected zombie back in the 50's or something and you can nom on other people and make them your zombie minions. You also have exploding kidneys and can bowl with your head and take control of other people with your dismembered hand :]
Just be cautious when purchasing a 360... Xboxs have been known to break down randomly, become over heated, etc. and get the ring of death then you need to spend 100 bucks to send it out and get it fixed... But I'll admit other than that the Xbox 360 is AWESOME!

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are games MADE for CO-OP, so you can't lose much there.
Halo 3 is good for co-op, and you can even play online split-screen.

The newer 360 models that were released last year have a much better success rate then their ancestors. Also, you get a 3 year warranty for the RROD (Red Ring of Death), so you don't have to pay for the repair if it does malfunction.

Borderlands man dude its the best game ever and when you get the expansions you will literally crap your self haha its beast
-
You should try Tales of Vesperia.
But it only have Coop after a while when you... Er...
No spoilers... ^_^

Borderlands easily rates highest on my list of Co-op games for the Xbox 360. Ever since I picked it up, I haven't been disappointed. It's easily got weeks worth of content, shooting action and fun, humor to spare, and the customization and talent trees always have me retrying older things with newer ideas.

I'd reccomend:
Splinter Cell Conviction (Hard, but cool)
Resident Evil 5 Gold editon
Halo 3 ODST
Halo 3
Borderlands (although it can be a bit boring)
Army of Two (Although I didn't like it)
Games I do not recommend to play Co-op:
Eternal Sonata
Gears of War
Fable 2

I just picked up my copy of Splinter Cell Conviction, and so far, it's amazing. The demo did not lie. I'm hoping the rest of the game can keep this pacing and feel. Resident Evil 5 is definitely a great game for co-op, just be careful if you have the Infinite Rocket Launcher. :p Firefight is a great assest to ODST, so I can definitely recommend that. Borderlands gets my seal of approval, and I can't really comment of Army of Two. I own both games, but you'll end up getting pissed at your partner on contractor if they suck.
Gears? I really haven't played it much. I know that Horde is fun.

Ya Borderlands might be one of the funnest games i have ever played coop with. Also ODST is really fun, and if you dont have either halo 3 or ODST, then get ODST ecause it has a better campaign and the full halo 3 multiplayer on it.
