You can enable Challenge Cup to get random Pokemon with Random lvl and random attacks. Well thats challenging.

I prefer Jigglypuff over Wigglytuff, Clefairy over Clefable and Pikachu over Raichu. Dont know why but Jigglypuff is badass with its attacks so is Clefairy. I never evolved Pikachu to Raichu because you couldnt do that in Yellow and have never even tried that.

OK here is the link about battle style and much more.
The game will be very similar to Advance Wars, but with Pokemon
sorry but why does everyone compares this to games that have NOTHING to do with this one?
Advanced Wars its epic, the way the field is as nothing to do with this pokemon game
Fire Emblem its epic as well, the field isnt even close to this pokemon game
do open your eyes, this game's ideia was taken from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance of GBA
check for yourselves then check Advanced Wars or Fire Emblem, you will see that its just like FF TA
I have never played Final Fantasy Tactics are any other FF game. But if you better check there are flying Pokemon like Serebii said can fly through obstacles (flying unitts in AW) Then Bushou Power, power of trainer that can be launch to aid in battle, like power in AW. Moving is similar, Attack is similar so this game looks like AW to me..

Why would Pokemon who have disadvantage have critical strike?
Critical strike was in every game and it is only based on luck (exceptions some moves).

My position still stands on this new game. I don't like how it looks, and it looks like it's ripping off fire emblem.

Ehh, I'm not too much a fan of the newer Pokemon games, and Fire Emblem is one of my favorite series, so if they're ripping it off, I'd rather not even bother playing it.
We dont know if it ripping of fire emblem, but by judging the released pictures of game it looks like it.
