Okay, so Amphi and Wailord have been removed as Moderators for the RolePlay section (should they request their status back, they will be given to them). I'm not sure why their names still appear on the sub-boards but that's not a big deal. That was the first thing I wanted to say. Second, Cortex officially agreed to help moderate and Roloc has been given permission to do so as well. also officially agreed. One last thing, I'll hold a little election for a new moderator, just to make things fun a bit!

I love how Mr_Dark already has 47 karma. It's only been a few hours and everybody is already giving him karma.
Well, part of the reason for that is that he already had some before the karma system was taken down.

Managed to get 150, woot!  I was also surprised there was a lab in my tiny country xD And I think there were some rate ones too around. Aggron, Empoleon and Kecleon for instance.

The fact that there are currently no limit on the number of items you could carry in traditional game could have been why this was never brought up, although it's a feature that still exists (with the warning going along just like you would expect it).
I guess we could make the trading of items a little easier by allowing direct item trades; maybe something allowing items of equal amounts to be exchanged, in addition to be able to being bought from each other. Now, maybe there could also be a system in place to prevent the scenario you mentioned from occurring (exchanging 99 pokeballs for 99 ultraballs) by having the trade system also check the value of the items and making sure they are within appropriate value range; the barter could be about items of roughly the same value.

Go ahead, it's your idea of the PokeTranslator after all, so no need to credit me. I already have a quest I should probably find some more ideas sometime ^^;

Haha, not bad for the quest, though I admit something a little different went through my mind between posting the earlier post and now. None can do now, it's all yours and you have all the right to suggest a quest like this.
EDIT: Hmm well, can't hurt to tell part of the idea I had: I think you'd get quite the funny sidequest if, for example the translator was not really translating what a Pokemon was saying, but all the same saying something that made more or less sense. Like, I don't know, it had fallen in love with a particular Pokemon while in fact, it didn't want to see it ever again. That takes you to a miniquest which in the end... doesn't end so well and... that seemed to have given quite the blow to the Professor's will to continue his research. I'm sure some more long or short miniquests could be further derived from that PokeTranslator.

Hmm, okay, that sounds promising. I guess items that are BoE are the consumables; potions, berries, pokeballs and such then.
I guess we'll just have to see, and that's not something on the list of priorities anyway!
