A thread for you guys to share cool sets - and critique them!
If you post a really good one we might include it in our reports!

My signature Scrafty set:

Scrafty:
Careful Nature
Evs: 252 Hp, 4 Def, 252 SpD
Moves: Bulk Up, Drain Punch, Crunch, Ice Punch
Item: Leftovers

You can substitute Rest for Ice Punch if you want some more livability. With its ev spread it is optimized to abuse bulk up. Not really much more to say.

These are my sets for some of my fave pokemon that work out well.

Stalleon (Umbreon) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize/Analytic
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Payback
- Heal Bell
- Wish/moonlight

A simple stall set, but extremely effective. This takes advantage of Umbreon's defenses. The strategy is to use curse as much as you can, healing when your health is close to 60%, and using heal bell to stop statuses. Once you're boosted, keep using payback for the best sweep ever. Synchronize takes care of status users, except for sleep, and you can heal your self to get an advantage. Analytic will boost attacking moves that go last, so payback becomes an even better move. Either ability is fine to use. The only thing you have to worry about is taunters, and forced switches, so if you feel it coming, bail.

Unburden (Liepard) (M) @ Normal Gem
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 128 Def / 128 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Swagger
- Thunder Wave
- Foul Play

Simple strategy, the spread allows you to take advantage of the speed you gain with unburden, and take at least a hit from non-boosted pokemon. After that, Twave or Swagger are your options, followed by foul play. Always use Fake out first to get rid of Normal gem, and activate Unburden, and you can outspeed most opponents instantly. Remember that fake out is resisted by ghosts, so don't waste it, switch out.

Counter Weavile (Weavile) (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Ice Shard
- Counter
- Night Slash

Weavile is a fun poke to use especially because of its speed and use of two priority moves. The idea here is to use him as a lead, or a sweeper for a physical attacker. Use fake out to get a flinch and a bit of damage off your opponent, just be careful of pokemon with non-flinching abilities, and use counter if you see a physical attack coming. This may need a bit of practice. Focus sash allows you to retain 1 HP, and counter gets max damage. However, Weavile becomes useless after this, and can only use Ice shard or Night slash as a last resort to get some damage off the opponent for your next poke. Another way to use it is to fake out, then switch to a wall so you can save Weavile for a finishing move on physical attackers.

Well, here's my new favorite.  Emboar.

Pain @ Choice Scarf.
Trait: Reckless
Evs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Sp
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Flare Blitz
-Wild Charge
-Superpower
-Earthquake

This is a very simple yet effective set.  It takes advantage of Emboar's high attack stat.  The choice scarf makes up for it's lack of speed.  Basically Emboar is going to hit hard and out speed most of the meta-game.  Flare Blitz is your main STAB attack and it also receives a boots from Reckless.  Wild Charge is one of my main ways to repel water pokemon (I use mono-fire), it also gets a boost from Reckless.  Superpower is just a nice STAB fighting move.  Use it when it's super effective, a revenge kill is it's best play.  Switch after because the loss of attack cripples Emboar.  And well Earthquake allows Emboar to deal with other fire types that may cause it problems.  As they resist Flare Blitz.

I suppose I can spare two builds and still be feared. :P

Ledian (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Fire Punch
- Drain Punch
- ThunderPunch

While having a jolly nature gives Ledian a speed of almost 400 it is made better by the choice band which boosts it's attack to a little over 460! Every Punch is boosted by iron fist.....choose the best SE attack and punch away.

Durant (F) @ Wide Lens
Trait: Hustle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- X-Scissor
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide

Hustle boosts Durants attack but lowers its accuracy. Wide lens helps to make up for this. Thunder waves accuracy is not affected by hustle so don't worry about it missing. With the Jolly nature Durants speed becomes 348 which is really nice. I have found that this set can hurt tanks pretty bad because of the paralyze/iron head combo barely lets them do anything.

I figure I might as well get this out here. It's everyone's favourite rotom!

Rotom-H @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 240 Def / 240 SpDef / 28 SpAtk
Modest Nature (+SpAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Pain Split
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower / Overheat

This is the best Rotom. Thunder Wave -> Pain Split -> ATTACK!!

^ This is surprisingly beastly, which is why I use it in my main team.

My signature set:

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Roost
- Whirlwind

Completely walls physical attackers.  Can't be Toxic'd.
Switch out when special attackers come in.
Get your spikes up while a Physical attacker attempts to damage you.
Roost off the damage dealt.  Toxic early for residual damage.
Spikes+Whirlwind is a good way to take off health from the opponent.
Whirlwind to stop opponent setting up.

This is a newer set that I randomly gave to a hariyama to test out new moves, and it works wonders stopping physical walls in their tracks.

Hariyama: Guts
Evs:252 Def, 252 SpD, 4 Hp
Item: Leftovers
Moves: Knock Off, Rock Smash, Whirlwind, Protect/Earthquake.

So basicly you come in while a physical wall is trying to set up, knock it item off, then whirlwind it out and just own everything else with rock smash. Unfortionaly this set has a perfect counter, Unaware. That means that a Curse Quagsire will always win. But heck, why fight it face to face? Just take its item and force it out.

Earthquake seems pretty useless with Rock Smash, they both affect mostly the same pokemon but rock smash gets better power. Stone Edge, however matches up really well, even if the accuracy is lower.

This is a set that seemed to trip a lot of people up:

ReptileRape (Sceptile) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- GrassWhistle
- Leaf Blade
- Night Slash

So with everyone going offensive in out little testing Metagame, I've noticed that people are easily stopeed by bulky boosting sweepers.

Snorlax@Leftovers
252 Sp.Def/252 Atk/4HP
~Curse
~Rest
~Body Slam
~Fire Punch/Earthquake/Crunch

With the many Alakazams/Serperiors/[insert special sweeper here] having a special wall that can double as an excelent tank will fit into any team. Snorlax makes a great partner with Spiritomb as a defensive core.

Spritomb@leftovers
252Hp/252Def/4SpD
pain spilt
will-o-wisp
calm mind
dark pulse

Idunno why it works well, it just does.

My Gallade in Pokemon Online

Gallade
Ability: Steadfast
Hold Item: Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly (+Spe,-SpA)
-Drain Punch
-Psycho Cut
-Ice Punch
-Swords Dance

The focus sash lets Gallade to use SD without worrying being OHKO-ed, DP is the most useful move once SD has been activated. And IP is VERY useful to surprise enemy's flying or even dragon type Pokemon.
A nice sweeper unless it meets a ghost-type pokemon (-__-")

or a faster pokemon/priority move, which is really common nowadays...

I have a pretty nice anti-ghost Gallade that does pretty well in standard too.

Gallade@Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
252Atk/252Speed/4Sp.Def
Jolly Nature
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-Psycho Cut
-Shadow Sneak

Since Gallade doesn't have to worry much about getting OHKO'd with his acceptable bulk, you just need to set up and sweep. Jolly over adamant nature to outspeed some potential checks and to be able to outspeed oposing Gallade. The Lum Berry is there becuse I use this to counter ghost types, many of which will carry WoW.

What?  Females can't have max attack?

Seriously,  I never knew that.  I'm so shocked!  Your intelligence in the game of pokemon is astounding!

...

Oh, and for those who don't know pokemon.  A normal gem is pointless without a normal attack.  If you use quick attack, it will boost one quick attack.  It will not make SD more effective.  And it's prolly not the best item for Sceptile.  Since you have SD.  For this set the best item listed is the focus sash.

It was like that indeed, but that changed gen 3 or 4, so it isn't true anymore.

IMO dig is a poor choice as it lets the opponent know what your doing before you get to do it. They can just switch to a flying or levitate user and negate it.
You should give destiny bond a go. If you know you can't kill their pokemon with an attack then take it with you as they kill your shedinja.
Title: Re: Post Awesome Sets Here!

By the time i switch him in there usually isn't any flying or levitates on the other team.

But i have switched it out, ironically I made the changes right after I posted the set, i do in fact use destiny bond, since well, it works well.
