well that was lame i spent 3 days playing no wow watching this place like a hawk hoping it was going to be released to day and i guess ya i was a noob for not checking the source page but still thats pretty low to do after all of us was so happy it was finally gonna be released.
So i guess its back to waiting months and months before the game is back.

If it doesn't work for you, please post your operating system (windows xp, vista,7, linux (distro), mac etc.) and describe exactly what happens. Also if possible, some hardware specs.

For those people who joined and started posting purely for this April Fools joke, I wouldn't consider leaving.
I know a lot of you must be annoyed - but remember, we do have a large group of our active community, who have tested the beta in the past. We do have a group of members who will be first in line to test the real beta when it comes out.
So, if you are interested in playing the beta, the best way to do so would be to become active in our community - and make some friends.
Purely lurking means that when we do start picking people to test the real beta, you'll be seen as someone who just wants to play the game rather than help us test it, and you will have to wait for the game to be fully released.
So, pick up your keyboard and make some friends here, participate in our RPs, and suggest features in our ideas forum.

You need to run the puclient.exe in the data folder.

I got to play for a while, encountered a Zubat and I timed out. I try logging back in and get Timeout while verifying data. Please retry. My windows is 64bit btw.

I think I caused the entire PU server to be closed. Something about unrecognized data when I tried attacking a MissingNo, then the server owner having their license revoked.

Try removing SDL_TTF.dll from the client folder, then install this by putting all the DLLs into the client folder:

Right... so precompiled won't work, because it doesn't have TTF-kerning which is found in a newer version of SDL. You're gonna have to wait for Urmel then, since I have no idea how to compile this sheeeet for windawz. D:

Thanks for helping us test out the client, and sorry for the april fools. Because of you the Mac client should now work without problems. The Windows client seem to have some problems, so please report your problems together with your version of windows. Currently server is down, so you cannot test it.
