Yeah but if you want to get more people in general I think this is a good idea. I know that more than my school feel the same way about pokemon (first generation is good, 2nd is pushing it, 3rd and beyond is too far) most of the population feel this way. I'm not saying make it all 1st generation I'm saying make the breakdown like (35% 1st gen., 25% 2nd gen., then 40% 3rd and 4th gen.) and the breakdown might be that way already being that 151 of the 493 are already 1st gen. pokemon. This is just a good way to make the game more popular amongst the rest of the world.

Ash wont ever retire. His whole life is centered around pokemon and training, literally. The show would clearly take a turn for the worse and would end up canceling the show had he leave. Plus I'm pretty sure that the show is almost finished with anyway, I dont know if I could handle anymore pokemon I already have enough trouble remembering them now.

I think that in the game Generation 1 should be the majority of pokemon (i mean just more than others) because it would appeal more to the public eye more. Many people at my school and most likely others enjoyed and know the most about Generation 1 and would most likely want to play more if they knew more about each pokemon. For example, my friend the other day asked about this game and what generations were in it. I told him that it was all generations and he just said "Oh wow now I'm not going to know any of them so I don't think I will play" but if the majority are Generation more people will join and the game will be more prosperous. Comment stating if agree or disagree. Thanks,

Okay thanks for clearing that up I was just posting assuming legendaries were catchable. Do you know if any starters are catchable?? (as in Charizard, Infernape, or Bulbasaur)

My favorite generation is a toss-up between Gen I and Gen II because they didnt have too many pokemon and they had enough in the game to keep me occupied. G/S would be the best if there was more to do in the Kanto region as well.

Ash Ketchum is a legend. Had he not changed voices when 4kids sold the show to Pokemon America the show would still be awesome and everyone would still love it. Everyone overreacts about how bad that new gen's are. The reason they believe they are bad is because they haven't played them. Once you start playing them you get situated with the new pokemon and used to the new region. I love every aspect of Pokemon whether its the classic anime, or the games (and hopefully soon the MMORPG!!!)

If he is in the game, why would no one catch it. The goal is to make the best team possible, you got to go with Darwinism if you want to be the best. Otherwise everyones lineups would be filled with Weedles and Caterpies

Yeah like be able to set your music for when you enter caves, or are entering a new city that is actually a pretty good idea, but I bet it would be heck for the creators

If you are a special type of trainer (Misty=Water) and just love that one type, leave a comment here to show your type. I personally am a Poison/Sleep type trainer like Koga. When a pkmn in asleep, it cannot hurt you!

Butterfree is my favorite though because in yellow version when i couldnt use Pikachu to take down Onix/Geodude, Butterfree was always their to use confusion and take it down

The best pokemon from Blue version is clearly Alakazam for a couple reasons:
1) He can learn Recover and demolish opponents by recovering when he gets damaged
2) Psychic and Psybeam are very powerful psychic attacks
3) Psychic doesn't have too many weaknesses and has many strengths
Hopefully in this game I get Alakazam because he is the man and I also want a Luxray as my electric type because in my platinum game Luxray dominated

I think that in the game the pokemon to be caught are actually up for grabs and wild. As in by walking you actually see the pokemon you wish to catch. Comment and reflect on my suggestion!!
