Hello everyone i am new to pokemon universe.. Any tips before i go read the rules etc?

Tips for the forums haha? Hmm dont ask stupid questions, you cannot catch legendaries, there is no set release date yet, and you cant download the game yet. Thats about all you need to know

Welcome. As for tips...hmm, use the search bar (upper right) whenever there is a question your dieing to ask but don't want to be flamed for it.  :)

Unless your name is Baka, racial slurs are off-limits.

Using the report button on anyone with a blue, green, or - god forbid - red nametag is a terrible idea. Srsly.

Jokes about midgets don't count as racial slurs.

Lurk moar. It's never enough.

Frenchfry is NEVER your buddy.

Don't mention chibi 'art' or vampires around StarLite, lest you make him go into yet another wangst coma.

Is that a post you're making? Not without spell-checking is isn't!

Just remember those, along with what those last two guys said, and you should be fine.

Tips? Read the rules, FAQ and announcements first of all. Generally, 94% of the information you are looking for are there. And Frenchfry just told you the 5% information you won't get there.

1% of the info can be obtained through the Ideas and Suggestions and IRC Channel. Of course, the really good questions are rare.
