Personally I loved them and hope they make a new one for the WII however I have heard many people saying that they were a bad Idea - What's your opinion?
-
i didnt like the 2nd 1 i did however like Colosseum
-
I liked them alot, especially how you could trade all the awesome and unique pokemon (like the psuedo legendaries) you could catch in them and then trade to your ruby, sapphire, firered, leafgreen, and emerald games.
-
i just got gale of darkness and so far it seems like a great game i agree with Daystar.
-
Gale of Darkness is an insanely amazing game I got in like..7th grade maybe. So about three years ago.
And still, to this day, I play it. I just love it so much.
If they incorporated it to a Wii version, they would absolutely HAVE to add an online play feature,
to battle with other trainers.
I would definitely buy a Wii for that sole reason. : ).
Very, very, great idea.

I honestly think the Colliseum and Gale of Darkness games were amazitastic (amazing+fantastic)! The graphics were good for a gamecube game, and the storyline was gripping! You just had to see what came next! A wii game like that would be so cool! I think it should give you the option of changing clothes like they did in Battle Revolution. We'll see what comes next.
-
I have heard about Colliseum, but barely played it. :-[ But pokemon XD Gale of Darkness is not bad at all. ;)
-
i have owned and beat both there great games.
-
I've finished Colloseum and played Gale of Darkness for 7hours straight, only to find out my Wii corrupted the memory card data, silly Nintendo :(
-
Sux 4 u.
So I think Pokemon Battle Revolution was a way to make money off of making the battle system first. There might be a new game for the Wii coming!

What about Pokepark Wii, coming out sometime this year for the Wii?
-
That actually looks like a type of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, except without the Mystery.
-
Yeah, but with real time fighting, minigames, and puzzles, so it doesn't even seem remotely like anything that came before it.
-
Battle revo.: had no story...
Gale of darkness:best of the 3
colliseum:its an OK predecessor
mostly i think it's utilizing the double pokemon function
-
I liked the darker story of Collosseum.
Plus having umbreon and espeon as starters was a win idea.
XD had a (somewhat) better story, but it didn't seem to connect like the first
true it gets +10 awesome for having lugia in it, but i never wanted to purify him just because he looked more badass, and was stronger than his level portrayed.
XD felt like a goody-goody game, colluseum felt more selfish towards the main character, which i felt was more interesting.
-
I liked both of them, started a second file on Gale of Darkness. Vulpix is pwning faces with the heat wave
-
I really liked the main character of Colosseum, I think his real name is Wes. He was the oldest of any Pokemon game's main character, plus i still love watching the animation they gave him for catching Pokemon, also the infinite ball glitch was nice too, shame they had to go and fix that

What's the infinite ball glitch?
-
you use say a master ball on the first pkmns turn then the second pkmns turn you go into items switch the master ball with another and then proceed to attack with second pkmn

So basicly an example is you swap the Master Ball with the great ball in the ball menu. Fairly simple. I couldn't believe Nintendo didn't think of that :P
-
yep and i love it so much thats how i got all the shadow pokes i missed
-
and to think before I figured this glitch out I was having to lob maybe 3-4 ultra balls at Zapdos after like 9 turns of shadow half. God what a waste :P. Sarcasm building

Never played gale of darkness, but colliseum was good. But no more games like that please
-
I loved both
Gale of Darkness had absolutely amazing graphics for the time period it came out in, which was maybe 4 years ago but still. Both are great games
-
I have both and love playing them. The storyline is what draws me back into playing them, even today. It's such a turn away from the casual Pokemon series that I can't help but love their uniqueness. It helps that both games are really solid as well.
Anyone else pull down on all the shoulder buttons / triggers everytime they threw a ball?
-
When did the infinite ball glitch get fixed, because a couple of days ago I bought colloseum and the infinite ball glitch still worked
-
Well igotta say gale of darkness was amzing, ive had it for like 2 years or so and i absoluely love playing it. I like the fact tht you start with an eevee. But i do hate that there is no pokemon league, gym leaders. and no wild pokemon. But for an "old" game, it has really good graphics.
-
There were wild pokemon, it was just a different system.

technically, but you can only get them by putting that cheese looking crap on those one things in those one three places. And you can only find about three kinds in each place so it sucks.
-
My brother used to use the 100 Man colloseum thing on XD (the one where we thought we'd get Ho-oh :() To train :D
