Not really a quest but more an event which takes place once a year. Where the best (or what ever) 10? trainers can join the professor to that special island to catch some shiny Pokémon, where they may keep 1 when leaving the island.
I don't like the idea of 1 year. I think it's too long in my opinion. 3-4 months would be better. This is just my opinion.

I just watched and I think it will be the best console game of 2012. I need to get my Xbox fixed ASAP. You can only play the Multiplayer Beta if you have ODST? This game will be epic  .

I just saw From Paris With Love and that movie is amazing and its a must see. The ending is pretty sad though.

I like the idea Ghandor but I think it would be more useful if it Refiled at the end of the battle as Dellancher said.

An other option is to allow to use the same number of items as you have Pokémon in your party.
Say you have 3 Pokémon in your party, then you can use 3 items in battle.
I think this would work better.
