I would like to apply for a pixel artist position. I do have experiance with pixel art using graphics gale... Here are some examples of my work.
The sprites are just templates...everything else is my work.

this one turned into a bit of a rush job. It was ment to be a rapidash centaur person...it still needs more shadeing and some more work on other parts but I'm still working on it.
These are only a few things that I have done. I realise the pixel art for this game is a different style but what Im showing you lets you know that I know what I am doing
Thank you for your time

apparently you're good with working with bases, I bet you'll be a very valuable overworld sprite creator for the PU ^^
-
Thanks for your input...its very appreciated

As I told you in IRC yesterday good job!
Could you try doing something out of the character that we have in the screenshots of the game? In the latest ones with the pokemon following the trainers.
-
Your sprites look pretty neat. What do you mean by that they're just templates. Do you mean they're all done with the same base?
Can you also make environment (grass, pavement, trees, etc..) and buildings?
-
Hmm never tried...Ill give it a shot

what style of grass? like the grass pokemon attack you in? as in the game? or just general grass on the map?
-
These look great, nice work.
-
Try both Andrew :)

Grass also known as tall grass where wild pokemon jump and attack :)

I suggest you take a look at the recent screenshots (http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?page=screenshots) to see what style they're in.
And as of the size, try to make the tile 48*48
