Explanation of Set
This guy can be pretty scary - he functions like Raticate but has different coverage and the powerful Flare Blitz - which, can sometimes end his life prematurely. For this I would recommend having a Wish supporter handy - who can heal up Typh as he hits hard. TPunch/Earthquake can be switched for which coverage you need more - TPunch covers waters, EQ covers Rocks.

Explanation of Set
This is a somewhat odd set - but it works absolute wonders when it goes right.
So, say you have Scizor on your team, and complimenting him is a bulky Venusaur, and... you're packing a Butterfree for statusing. All of these pokemon enjoy a switch in, and so fire will be your opponent's focus. That's where this guy comes in. A scarfed Typhlosion is likely to move first, it is likely to get the 150 power Eruption (337 power with STAB and Flash Fire) - and, so, if you've weakened your enemy enough, it will likely KO. If you are able to bait your enemy into this, great. If Typhlosion gets low on health - start using Flamethrower or Fire Blast. Hidden Power Ice and Focus Blast can just be used for general revenging.
