I know that Smeargle isnt the best Pokemon challengewise but i just liked the name of this quest
Smeargle can be used very effectively in battles though considering it learns Sketch which is like any moves, so I was thinking a tough high level (Elite, they would call it in WoW) Smeargle with a tough moveset

I am talking to a member of the staff and they said its put on the "shelves for later", and There are only like 5 pokemon at most that are even possible to ride
no1 is going to request a Spiritomb or a Snorlax or something like that

Not really, just make like 2 or 3 Pokemon to be ride able, like not all 293, or maybe use the legendaries in this way since they wont battle.

this is a good advertising trick, and i think will work in the same way if you show popular pokemon like togepi, torchic, etc.

I dont know if this is included or has been discussed or what not, but in wow they have talent trees where you can customize what your character specializes in based on your level. i think this would be really sweet for example (this is probably a dumb 1 but just an example) Like you could specialize in like pokeball proficiency- 1/5 you have a 5% higher chance to catch pokemon with all poke balls 2/5 10%...3/5 10%....etc. i think these talents should only benefit in single player, because that would really throw a whole new spin on battlin, but either way i hope you liked it, if you never played wow here is an example of what it it: http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?c=Mage
