Anyone quick scope? challenge ya im 14-0 in 1v1 quick scopes also in halo 3/reach
Level 50 General in Halo 3 and i 4got reach :P

No it doesn't a person just is one.
All quickscoping is the exploitation of the auto aim and the hipfire reticule, ruining the game for everyone who is trying to play normally. On PC, there is no auto aim, and quickscoping doesn't exist.

lol i nvr use auto aim or steady aim just me en my intervention i take the auto aim option off

and there r MANY PC quick scope montages, infact they tried to patch it for xbox and ps but they cant patch it for pc which makes it alot easier for pc and ive seen it in action, u barely look at the guy and u get a hit marker

Then you are not truly quickscoping, especially because you are playing halo. as soon as you zoom in to what you would consider a "quick scope" you are actually doing what is known as "Hard Scoping"

nvr said i was quick scoping in halo sry if i maybe miss used a word or 2 but you cant rlly qs in halo but im talking about codmw2, impossible to qs in black ops cuz josh olin (community manager) made it so your scope hairs arent were your hip hairs are throwing off your qs ALOT

Fry, I agree this is so annoying to read. Also quick scoping really? Why? It's dumb, it's like saying "Everyone look at me! I'm the greatest glue stick eater in the world!" Completely pointless.

Guys, no need to shoot him down. If you don't like the idea of quick scoping, don't post here. This isn't about whether you believe it takes skill or not.

I don't play COD much anymore. Actually I don't play it at all anymore. When I did play, though, I never used a sniper. The only game I play where I quick scope is Counterstrike Source. There are no crosshairs with the scout, and you have to get a headshot to kill them in one shot. I would accept a CS:S quick scope challenge, but not CoD.

I'd just like to comment on the auto aim comments. Regardless of whether or not you turn it off, if you're using a console, aim compensation and auto aim still exists. Because you're using game pads and not a mouse which allows incredibly better accuracy, the game has to compensate and make hit areas larger. Thus, in Halo you could get a head shot without directly being on his head. That isn't going to fly in a PC game. For this reason, console snipers annoy me when they spout off how great they are. If that skill is transferable over to PC gaming, I'll give props. However, 9/10 times, a console sniper makes for an incredibly lousy PC sniper.

And for your information you can quickscope or ast scope at least in BO because the bullt randomisation in the first .25 seconds of scoping in, has now been removed so yeah you can fast scope now!
