I suggest you shade, and use better colors. Hell..I suggest you use another program. Paint is not all that good :\
-
It's... uh.. definitely an improvement.
Still not good. But an improvement.
-
Indeed, a huge improvement. Try looking at already made sprites and make something out of them.
-
You've recognised some of the techniques of pixel art.
However you need to learn about, Shading, Dithering etc.
What ever anyone may say I think MS paint is the best for pixel art.
That and Paint.Net

I noticed that your sprites had pixels that made certain parts bulge(like your Cascade Badge). When you make sprites, you have to do the pixels one by one. If you don't do that, part of the sprite will end up looking like your Cascade Badge.

Thank you for the feedback! ^^
Is this PokeBall better?

Iggy you need to research Pixel art tutorials before beggining with Pixel art. If your serious about getting into it, send me a Pm and ill send you some of the best begginers tutorials.

Iggy. In pixel art, you don't draw the picture like in real life. You have to make it pixel by pixel (Yes, that means clicking every single pixel one by one) Or if you're desperate, use the line tools.
-
When you're making pixel art, you have to zoom in all the way. It's easier to get the lines right. The shading was better than it is in your other sprites though.
