PU has altered many abilities and mechanics to improve balance - such as the alteration of moves and abilities that could be troublesome in the future, if they're not already.

Crits
---------------------------------
Random crits are off. You can still crit if you boost your crit ratio (such as through Super Luck, or using a move like Stone Edge) but otherwise, you will not crit randomly.

Sleep
---------------------------------
- Sleep range is rescaled from 2-5 turns to 3-5 turns.
- Sleep no longer resets its counter when the Pokemon switches out.

Weather

Sun:
- Fire moves deal 33% more damage, as opposed to 50%.
- Water moves deal 25% less damage, as opposed to 50%.
Rain:
- Water moves deal 33% more damage, as opposed to 50%.
- Fire moves deal 25% less damage, as opposed to 50%.
Hail:
- Ice pokemon gain 25% Def.
Sandstorm:
- Rock pokemon gain 25% SpDef as, opposed to 50%.

Abilities

Weather Creating Abilities (Drought/Drizzle/Snow Warning/Sand Stream):
- Follows Gen VI rules
- When a pokemon with one of these abilities switches out, the weather will last for 5 more turns, or 8 if holding the appropriate weather rock (Heat/Damp/Icy/Smooth).
Chlorophyll/Swift Swim/Sand Rush:
- 50% Speed increase in their weather as opposed to 100%.
Harvest:
- 80% chance to recover berry when not in sun, as opposed to 50%.
Cloud Nine:
- Stops weather while in play.
- Weather stays gone unless refreshed after the pokemon with this ability leaves play.
Filter/Solid Rock:
- 35% damage reduction on Super Effective hits, rather than 25%.
Wonder Skin:
- Blocks all status inflicted by the opponent.
Zen Mode:
- Now swaps Darmanitans base Atk and SpAtk stats.

-Base power is now set to 70 up from 60
MoonBlast:
-Chance to reduce Sp Atk is now 5% down from 30%
Stealth Rock:
- Removed
Explosion:
- Now lowers enemy's Defence by 1 stage before applying damage.
Pursuit:
- Changed from Dark to Typeless.
- Base Power increased from 40 to 45.
NOTE: Typeless damage will deal damage to Shedinja.
Aurora Beam/Bubblebeam:
- 100% chance to lower opponents Atk/Speed.
- Base Power decreased from 65 to 55.
Rock Smash:
- 100% chance to lower opponents Def.
- Base Power increased from 40 to 55.
Metal Claw/Charge Beam:
- 100% chance to increase users Atk/SpAtk.
- Base power increased from 50 to 55.
Confusion:
- 50% chance to inflict confusion.
- Base Power increased from 50 to 55.
Knock Off
- Base Power increased from 20 to 60.
Outrage:
- Base Power decreased from 120 to 100.
Draco Meteor:
- Base Power decreased from 140 to 120.
DynamicPunch:
- Accuracy increased from 50% to 70%.
Sing/GrassWhistle:
- Accuracy increased from 55% to 75%.
Hypnosis:
- Accuracy increased from 60% to 75%.
Sleep Powder:
- Accuracy increased from 75% to 85%.
Stun Spore/Poison Powder
- Accuracy increased from 75% to 90%.
Rock Tomb
- Accuracy increased from 80% to 90%.
- Base power increased from 50 to 70.
Constrict:
- 100% chance to lower opponents Speed.
- Base Power increased from 10 to 50.
Take Down
- Recoil decreased from 25% to 20%
- Base Power increased from 90 to 100.
Power Gem
- Base Power increased from 70 to 80.
Twineedle:
- Base Power increased from 25 to 45.
Pin Missile:
- Base Power increased from 14 to 25.
Fury Cutter:
- Base Power increased from 20 to 30.
Fiery Dance
- Base Power decreased from 80 to 70.
Wrap:
- 100% chance to decrease opponents Spe by one stage on hit.
- Base Power increased from 15 to 20.
- Damage per turn increased from 1/16 to 1/10.
Bind:
- Base Power increased from 15 to 50.
- Damage per turn increased from 1/16 to 1/10.
Clamp/Fire Spin/Sand Tomb/Whirlpool:
- Base Power increased from 35 to 40.
- Damage per turn increased from 1/16 to 1/10.
