So I'm just trying to get this straight. What region are we on? ??? Are we on Hoenn? Kanto? Unova? I read the storyline and summery and it basiclly said that we could chose 1 starter pokemon out of 15 pokemon(5 regions) but they didn't say what region they were on. It said there was a fisherman who got caught in a storm and after the storm he found a island. Can anyone answer my question? Please reply.

We're in Myrius, a PU region made by PU.

Over the years, the temporary settlements turned into towns and cities as the land prospered with growth. Due to popular demand, the Pokémon League Commission set up seventeen gyms spread across the landmass, now named Miryus.
At the risk of sounding like a jerk, I now understand why the mods get frustrated.

Ah crap, I spelled it wrong.
-
I hope you weren't thinking that was directed towards you. (http://nowhere-else.org/smilies/21.gif)
Side note, how is Miryus pronounced? Is it like Mir-rai-us or Mir-ree-us?

CortexJ already answered your question liltio1213456789, so there you have it. And I would say it's Mee-ree-us.
-
I say something like Mee-ree-us, like Genbor....

Don't think that's for you to decided. The only post off-topic in this thread is yours.
@Cortex, that was the old way of spelling. In the beginning it was Myrius, this was later changed to Miryus.
As for pronouncement. I mostly go with Mee-re(e)-us
-
I always pronounced it as Mire-yus.
-
I pronounced it mir-ee-us.
