For the first time i have a good idea for a RP!
Plot
Random people are disappearing off of the streets and nobody knows where they are going. A company called FullMind Inc. is capturing them and then experimenting on them so they can get the subjects mind to use the full capacity. Most subjects die in the process shortly after they are experimented on, but some survive and even gain the powers that the company is trying to force onto them. These survivors are taken to a holding facility that is kind of like a prison.

I woke up to the sun in my face... Winter was almost over, soon i would see animals of the summer and learn how to shift into them. I got out of my bed and stretched. I walked down the hall and looked around. The others were still asleep... I didn't want to wake anyone, I was feeling kind that morning. I shifted into a Fox, my favorite form, and ran to the Break Room...

I woke up, hearing a soft beep, in a rhythmic pattern. The air was cold, even with my dense jacket.
I sat up, trying to deduce my position. I could not recognize any of the surroundings, at least, not right away. Albeit, barely, I could remember a small memory of where I was. I was carried down, into this cellar, then hooked up to several data machines. Then, I felt as though out of my body, looking down on the scene. I was being cut open, and experimented on, then just as the figure finished, my vital signs instantly faded. I heard him mutter something about 'another failed subject,' and he left.
...and that's it. My only remaining memory. I have no idea who I am, not even my age, or name.
So, I gave my own name, Alias.
I walked out of the cellar, and found myself further away than precedented. I decided to run around, and I found it easy to traverse the city, even with the sharp turns. I came quickly to a low clearance area, about 3 feet tall, I bent backwards, and expected a searing pain, but there was none. In fact, I cleared the gap by an extra foot, even while maintaining my balance.
This looked to provide a promising future for me.

I got to the room and re-shifted to my human form. I looked out the window, if the shield ever went down... I walked up to the piano and sat down. I remember my mom telling me that I would learn how to play one of these, then I was taken. I Shifted into a bear and smashed the piano...

I woke up with a pounding headache, in a dark room. I looked to the left and could barely make out the shape of a light switch, I stood up, but I felt a pull on my right wrist, I use my left hand to feel what it is, I'm handcuffed to a pole...great. I suddenly heard a crash coming from above, without thinking of the potential danger, I yell out "Hey, I'm down here, help me!"

I heard the cry and looked around. I shifted back to my human form and looked around for the person who had called...
Use your power to escape... its the only way.
I hoped the person had heard me...

'Click' Chase flipped a radio switch."Number 159 (that's you rex). Escape, Ha you will remain here aid me in developing a virus to spread these powers to everyone else. Killing those too weak and purifying the world. Imagine a world free of the boundaries of man, wouldn't it be glorious. A world where anything is possible, a world where you can be free from the constraints of our current society. Until then you will remain here safe, locked away where the rest of the world cannot find you. When that glorious day arrives I will release you into my garden of eden.
'Click'
Chase turned off the radio switch. Returning to his room he took a pill to repress his other self and laid out on his bed.

I walked up to the window in the room and tried to put my had through. Bad idea most days, but today there was no shield... I looked around and left the room. I would be back.

I decided to dash about the city, to see if any shops were open. I felt it would be best to arm myself. I went by the silversmiths, and I really like the unique items he made. I made him an offer, "Hey, Do you think you could craft me a set of Kunai?"
"How many?"
"Five, and I want the design to look unique as your other masterpieces."
"Will do, miss, how will you lay for it?"
:/ "Well, I have no money... Would you accept me doing tasks for you, in payment for my set?"
"Alright, but it won't be easy by any means. One of the 'Dox,' keeps ruining my business, scaring away, and even upright snatching my patrons."
"Dox?"
"That's our name for the syndicate experimenting on people."
"So you know..."
"Few people do... any way, I want this guy brought down, can you handle it?"
"Of course I can."
"I'll have the set ready by sunset."
"Thanks."
So what do they look like? I'd assume like the one that experimented on me.

Still tied up, I concentrated on getting rid of this rope around my wrist. Five minutes, ten minutes, I was starting to get frustrated, I could see the light globe starting to flicker, fifteen minutes passed and the light was a steady glow, now I could see what I was doing. "And I pull it here" I said under my breath. I was free, as I was calming down I noticed the light started to fade. I concentrated on it and it began to glow again...cool.
I walked to the door at the end of the room, of course it was locked. I hit it many times, it still won't open. I walked back a few steps when I got the stupid idea of barging into the door... "here goes nothing." In half a second I ram through the door and end up in the wall on the other side "Ow."

Beep, Beep. The radio in Chase's room went off.
"Sir, it seems there has been a break out in C block. It looks like it is number 247 (This is you crozza), Sir
"Send a Capture Unit and tell then to engage on sight. And I'll be there in 5 as well."
Chase switched off the radio and slowly headed towards C block.

"Good, my body is still intact." I look around, I'm in a very large building, there has to be at least ten doors in this hallway. I walk down the hall, they're all closed. I decide to not open any of the doors, who knows who or what could be in them. Finally an open door, it appeared to be a large dining room. And the table was covered in food.
I sat down, about to take a bite when I saw a group of sinister looking people staring at me. They start to move towards me, there's a pressure building up in my chest. I turn around to run away, but there's another group of these guys walking towards me. The pressure instantly released, the lights flickered and burst. I could have used that to my advantage, had it have been night.
I looked at the biggest of the group, I was really starting to get scared, I held my hand out and yelled "STOP!" as a jolt of electricity shot out of my palm. There's at least fifteen more of these guys, i can't take them all on by myself. "I NEED SOME HELP OUT HERE, ANYBODY?"

I hear a comotion in the dining room. I walk in and see the Night Squad attacking a new guy.
Stop. If you don't back you are all going to be hurting...
My arms shifted into dragon Arms... ( i can shift into any thing i can lay my eyes on.)

Walking into the dining hall, Chase saw numbers 159 and 247 attempting to fend off the capture unit. The unit wasn't having much luck.
Dammit, Do I have do everything myself. You are all worthless... Wind Blade!
A gust of air swirled around the capture unit, slitting each of their throats. Every member of the unit collapsed to the ground dead.
I would suggest you two peacefully return to your rooms.

Humph... Pain in the a** that person...
I didn't need you help.
My eyes turned blood red, I lost control of my shifting powers. My shift completed and I was transformed into a Dragon. I looked at the person who interrupted me and got ready to eat him...

A dragon, that's cute. Now, I'll ask you again to please quietly return to you rooms. If you do not, I will be forced to dispose of you for the greater good. We don't want everyone thinking they can just walk out of here if they please. I need them to help create the new world.

Soon after my offer, after dashing for a bit...
"Hey, lets go for a walk."
It sounded familiar, I was sure of that.
"Who are you?"
I turned around, and the face seemed familiar as well, but I couldn't place it.
"You.... I thought you were dead!"
"Oh yeah, you tried to experiment on me already, and yes, I did die."
"Impossible.... I left you after vitals dropped."
"I know, I was out-of-body, and saw the whole thing, and better yet... I have to thank you."
"What?!"
I pushed my speed and agility to the max, and delivered a lotus kick directly to his spine.
"Now that I can do this, I have to thank you for giving me a life, where I had the fewest memories, even losing my name and age."
"...and to think, you were one of the few, that I scared and tested."
"So it was you...."
"What...?"
"You are the one I'm after, the Dox agent."
"and you, a nameless failure is going to defeat me?"
"My name, is Alias!!"
Again, I slipped past him, giving him a brutal corkscrew punch to the gut.
"Ok, your life ends here, you brat!"
His body turned silver, and his arms became light steel blades.
"So you are an experiment too?"
"Yes, and I'm one of the Strong ones."
"I don't think so...."
I flipped behind him, slammed his steely head, into the nearest vehicle, a Hummer, and he passed out, returning to normal.
On my return to the smith's, night had fallen, and he had the police take the Dox agent into custody.
"Thank you. As promised, your kunai."
I took them, and marveled at them, imbuing both style and function.
He had made two of them to be bigger, dagger-like weapons, made for a person with a reverse-grip, and the kunai were razor sharp, and had a pair of wings at the handle. He gave me a pouch for them, and wished me well.
As I left, going through the city some more, I saw a large group of Dox. They were inside a large building, and seemed to be attacking a couple people in the center. There was a Third person, seeming to lead the group, and they didn't look happy
I jumped right in, through the window, ignoring the glass shards cutting at my skin
At closer glance, I noticed charges flying from one of the
defender's wrists, stunning them, but only temporarily.
The 'leader' killed the rest of his men, and prepared for battle.
Standing next to the electric guy, I pulled out the semidaggers and two kunai, and said,
"Take these kunai, metal conducts electricty, remember?"
I took my daggers, and slipped behind the leader...
"Who are you, and what is your business with the Dox?"

My eyes reverted and i regained control of my power. I re-shifted to my human form and returned to my room... I was out of here tonight...

"So dragon boy left? All I know is... I'm not leaving thunder guy or 'Mr. Leader' here, not without my answers."

I went into my room and looked around. This room was all i knew, what was I going to do when i got out of here? I didn't care I packed my stuff and shifted the pack into a pebble and put it in my pocket...

You want an answer? Fine. This company is trying to create the perfect humans, and the perfect world, a figurative garden of eve. And I am this new worlds gallant knight, the one who will purify the world. When the virus is complete I will spread it everywhere, the weak will perish and only those who are worthy will survive and be reborn. If you still wish to oppose me, you will only end up like those worthless, filthy, disgusting creatures lying dead over there.

I walked up to the window in the eating room and shifted into a pigeon. I flew through the window and triggered an alarm. By the time they got there I would be long gone...

*sigh* I guess, I don't have a choice.
"While I don't agree with what you're doing, I can at least thank you for my new abilities. (and I guess thunder guy doesn't want kunai.)
"Only a coward would kill anyone like that. Sure, it's quick, but if you can't put up a decent fight, forget it, you aren't worth taking down."
I turned my back, motioning for "Thunder guy" to follow me, through the window I smashed.

You can't get away. I need everyone here to create the new world... NO! I WON'T ALLOW THIS!
Chase let out a howl of agony and flames erupted from his body.
With a snap of his fingers, Chase circled number 247 and this new person with a wall of flames.
I... Will... Protect... You...
Chase began flinging flames everywhere, turning the room into a fiery inferno.
(This is his other personality. It's brutal, even more twisted and for the level that your powers are probably at right now almost unbeatable. He kinda hulks out, lol)

Part of the compound was on fire. I could feel the heat even up here. I looked and saw a damn in the distance. I performed a risky mid air shift and shifted into a eagle and started on my way there...

Ryan wakes up with a slight shock, lately dreams have occurred. He dreamed of death being near but it was a drag thinking too much about it. Ryan struggles to calm down as he breathes hard. "This is not like me. What a drag bro.." Ryan stays on the ground replaying the image of him dieing. Suddenly looking around his cell whispering slowly "...I hear something but it's a drag to pay attention.

It starts to get really hot...Why does it have to be fire...of all things fire? (Magnum is afraid of fire) Hey you, Pyromaniac, you mind letting me out of here, I feel like I'm dying. I hear an alarm go off, this cannot be good. My hands start to tingle, it's an odd sensation, a bolt of lightning shoots out of my hands, hitting the ground a metre in front of Chase.

I hear loud noises and slight heat approaching me. Hesitantly I get up muttering "The hell is goin' on?" Slowly starting to sweat I wipe my head with my glove. I stare cautiously at the bars of my cell. I slowly approach it, touching the metal. My glove slowly starts getting burnt. I let out a yelp and shortly fall towards the ground. I control my balance, landing on my ass. "What a drag.." I mutter to my self. I kick the bars of the cell with ease, breaking them in half.

sol wakes up handcuffeed to a metal pole and says "they are so stupid."he then turns the pole into a metal staff and hits the gaurd by him and jumps into the air ducks starts crawlling out.

I reached the damn and re-shifted back to my human form. A guard approached me...
Hey, you can't be here! Get out!
I looked at him with blood red eyes...
LEAVE!
He drew his gun and I shifted into a dragon. His eyes grew as big as watermelon. He unloaded his gun into me, it had no effect on my skin. I let out a roar and sent him running... I regained control of my shifting and looked at the damn for a weak spot...

Tidal Flare!
Even angrier now, Chase sent a wave of flames in the direction of the escapees.

Ryan looks around the facility quickly finding himself smelling an aroma of something burning. Letting out a few coughs he covers his mouth and nose with his right hand. "What a drag. Might as well look around now that I'm out of that cage."
Ryan soon after hears various voices seemingly shouting at one another. With interest he follows the scent and voices. The heat increasing with temperature and the voices getting higher.

I spun around enough to snuff out the flames, then headed out.
"I'd love to stay and play with you, Firebug... but I have, other plans!"

Still in my dragon form I flew to the weak spot and hit it with all my might. As I expected the Damn broke sending millions of gallons of water towards the center. I found a high spot to watch the carnage...

solomon saw the outside and saw a dragon and then looked back and saw fire he then climbed out and started running he then yelled to the dragon "can you help me?."

I saw a person yelling to me. I landed next to him and shifted back to my human form.
What do you want?

"i little help getting out of here."

I sat there and thought for a moment then decided that the kid wouldn't slow me down much.
Humph... Sure climb on.
I shifted back into the dragon and let the kid on my back then I took off...

sol jumped on the dragon that the guy turned into and put his staff on his back.

Ryan stops in place as he sees fire soon being put out with water splashing down. Smoke coming from the put out fire makes him cough until eventually the smoke clears. He looks over at two figures, casually Ryan sticks his double digit middle fingers up. "It's too much of a drag to lecture you idiots on not to play with fire. Take this as a....F*ck you but have a nice day."

Hey, umm Fireguy, quick question. Can you help me to gain control of my powers? As I wait for him to answer, I start playing with my hands, seeing what they can do with electricity. A small jolt of electricity jumps from my finger tips on my right hand, to my left. If only I knew how I did that.

Chase let out a fire that was so intensely hot that the water evaporated before coming into contact with him.
As the water slowed to a trickle, Chase popped a pill into his mouth.
Regaining control of his air powers, He flew straight for the dragon.
Everything I have worked for will not be destroyed!

Ryan saw two more figures, now seeing much more clearly he could make out a dragon. Silently he looks from afar still having his double digits up he puts them in his pocket. Having nothing better to do he stares at the flying dragon. "That's real twisted bro! He says. Deciding to follow the figures Ryan walks towards them.

I went looking around for something to do, but all I found was a bursted Dam.

Solomon was surrounded in smoke he then lost his grip of the dragon and started falling.

Without an answer, I decided to walk back to my room. Maybe there I could test out my abilities. As I walked down the hallway to my room, I momentarily forgot which one was mine, until I remembered that I had broken the door down and flung it into the opposite wall. It shouldn't be too hard to find.
I eventually got back to my room and sat down. I didn't like that room, too dark. I flicked the light switch and looked around... A basement? Of all the rooms in this building, they put me in a basement. I noticed a water pipe, running along the ceiling, I figured I may as well have some fun. I shot a bolt of electricity at it, the pipe broke, but there wasn't any water in it... What is wrong with this place?
Is there anybody here? Anybody at all? Is there anything to do in this place?
Chances are that nobody would here me, but hopefully someone did.

Solomon took of his jacket and ties it to his staff after he turned it into hang glider body and made them into a make shift hang glider and started gliding away.

The kid lost his grip on me and started falling... Not much I could do there... I flew to a nearby town and landed in a deserted parking lot and reshifted. I was hungry and needed food...

Chase lost sight of everyone.
Dammit, I better head back to the company and make sure the research didn't get damaged from the water.
Chase flew to the company and started checking on the test subjects.
Walking through the halls, Chase heard a voice and walked into a room where he found one of the test subjects.
247, It seems you have remained behind. Why?

I sat down, excited for tomorrow, little sparks were jumping from my fingertips. Still wishing for a better room, I decided to forget about that for now, and go to sleep.

Chase walked down the hall to the lab where the virus was being developed.
Good, the lab is intact. We can begin research again in a few days.

Ryan staggers to get up with little force. He lazily walks up a flight of stairs dragging his feet upwards. Step by step he gets closer to a facility and quickly spots two figures. "This is a drag whos there?" He remarks.

"so got any idea where i can go? i don't want to be caught again."
Go where they won't find you, and don't make a living off of your power. I am going to eat now...
With that I left the kid where he was.
I walked into a diner and sat down at one of the tables.
What can I get for you Kid?
I will have the Bacon Omlet.
Ok, any thing to drink?
A coke.
OK, be right back.
The lady came back 20 minutes later with my food.
Thank you.

I eat my food and got up to leave. A man walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder.
Do you plan on paying for that.
No. I don't have any money, and it would serve you well to leave me be.
Sorry kid, but I have to take you in.
I looked at him and my eyes were blood red.
No you don't...

solomon listend to guy and hid he found a job oppening at a resturant and applied, he got it a a hour later the place was being robbed he used his powers to stop it but (you all see this coming don't you?)he then gets caught.(again.)

The guy looked into my eyes and yelled at the top of his lungs.
Crap! Its a Survivor!
He reached for his walke-talkie. But I was already there. I grabbed his hand and broke it.
I said it would be best to leave me be!! Now I suggest you do so!
He pulled a tazer out of his left pocket and planted it deep into my side, and hit the button. I fell to the ground and watched him stand up and regenerate his hand, then I passed out...

Chase walked into magnum's room.
Wake up! Your training starts now.

I jumped up off the dirty floor which i had thought of as my bed for the night, I patted the dust off of myself. I looked at chase and asked Whats the plan for the day? I was ready.

First, we will start with meditation. Since your power seems to be electric, I want to you clear your mind and focus on creating a magnetic field around yourself. Then focus the electric energy and use it to power the door to your room. When I leave, I will detach the power from it after locking you inside. Meet me outside when you get out.
Chase left the room, locked the door and cut the power to it. Chase headed outside to wait.

Not sure how to create a magnetic field, Magnum started to stare at the door, concentrating on nothing but the door. Magnum started to feel the odd sensation again, he pushed the knowledge of the feeling to the back of his mind as he remained focused on the door. He felt a sudden and large release of energy from inside of him, the light bulb above his head blew, the door moved a little bit, Magnum had the idea of using the odd sensation to move it, focus it right in front of him, maybe that could work. Again, he focused on the door, here comes that feeling again, he closed his eyes, whilst still facing the door, the sensation ran down his arms to his hands. Holding them out in front of him, he opened his eyes, and slowly moved his hands to the side. The door was moving. Almost, almost there.
Magnum walked out of his room and asked So, what's next?

Using his wind powers, Chase flew Magnum and himself outside and up high in the air.
Chase then handed Magnum a parachute.
From up here you have an estimated 5 minuets before you hit the ground. The fall will most likely be lethal. This parachute will save you if you release it within three minuets. There is an electric release on it and I have removed it's power supply. You must activate this release the parachute. I also had some techs tweak it so it will only work with a tremendous amount of energy.
Chase tossed Magnum towards the ground.

WHAT THE HELL, DOES THIS GUY WANT ME DEAD? I don't think I've ever been this scared, dark clouds started circling around me, I was really angry at chase, bolts of lightning shot down near me, a minute has already passed, I need to aim the lightning at my back, but I can't see it, how can I aim when I can't see where it is. I focused on my back, hoping that this would work, a build up of energy in the centre of my back, hopefully this works.
Two minutes have passed, I need this to work. A bolt of lightning strikes the direct centre of the parachute, it opens just in time. As I am drifting down to earth, i look above and see the dark clouds slowly start to disperse. I really don't want to do that again, it kinda hurt.

Good, it seems your starting to understand your power better. Now, lets see how you do in light combat.
Chase spoke into a radio.
Send the black bird in now.
A helicopter, armed with mounted machine guns and rockets flew in overhead.
Your next test is to take down that chopper before it takes you down. Oh, and don't worry about what happens to the pilot... He was too weak to achieve any power.

The helicopter started to shoot at me, running around like crazy, I'm trying to dodge the bullets, I don't even realise that I'm running at a very high speed. Concentrating my energy into my hands, i decide to save it up for one big shot. A bullet narrowly misses me, and ricochets (if thats how you spell the stupid word) off of a rock, shooting through my calf. I can feel the power welling up inside of me. Just as the helicopter fires a rocket at me, I discharge all the electrical build up from my hands, this hits the rocket causing an immediate explosion. The pilot hat ejected from the helicopter, I wait for him to land. I stumble over to him, punch him in the throat and choke him to death with my bare hands.

It seems your starting to make good progress. Head to the medical bay and get that wound healed, so we can continue with heavier combat training in a day or two.

If that was light combat, I'm a little bit scared to see what you think is heavy combat. But anyway, which way is the medical bay?
Chase gave me directions to the medical bay.
The bullet got me on the side of my calf, it didn't actually go through, it just gave me a deep cut. I was stitched up and told to rest for a day. I walked back to my room, sat down, and fell asleep.

I woke up in a van. I could hear people talking.
Why did you hurt him so much! We need him alive!
He broke my hand! I had no choice but to Tazer him. Look who's awake.
The man walked up to me and released my hands from the cuffs.
I will let you out if you promise to be cool.
I glared at him and nodded.
Who are you guys? What do you want with me?
Good question. We are rebels, we are going to kill Chase and stop his plan. But we are few in numbers and he has many people. This is a one time chance, join us or die...

Solomon woke up and after he had been knocked out he heard someone say something about rebels from his captors.
Hee then said "You part of the rebels?"
They replied by saying "No we are loyal to Chase."
Sol turned his cuffs into a staff and knocked them out before jumping out of the window, shouting "Time to go join the rebels!"
He immediately jumped into a helicopter, knocked out the pilot and took commands of the vehicle. In doing so, he noticed some people (this is before you wake up rex) put the guy who gave him the advice in a van. Solomon jumped out as soon as he put the helicopter on auto pilot mode.
He did the glider thing and started jumped onto the van and he thought to himself "well todays been enetrasting."
JerryEDIT: I edited all but the last line because I'm not sure what he means... *me imagines a man jumping form a 'copter and "thwomping" on a van... ???

Walking into magnum's room.
Get ready your heavy combat training starts in 20 min. I'd also like you to meet Krista, you will be facing her in combat today. She has a rather unique ability. Oh, and she doesn't like to talk much.
Krista waved at Magnum revealing cuts all over her arms.
Meet us outside on the training grounds.
Both Chase and Krista then walked out of the room.

So, I fled downtown, to see what more I could do. I happened to swing by a run-down police station. My guess was it was operational until the experiments started. There were two training galleries there, one for shooting, the other for close range. I walked up to the wooden dummy, dressed up as a perp, and with two quick slashes from my kunai, it split into four pieces.
I chuckled at the lack of difficulty that the heap of firewood presented to me.
So, into the city again, this time, I sat on the edge of the Clocktower, waiting for something interesting.

Wow, Krista is hot. Getting up I look around the room, There's enough space, so I decide to do some stretches to loosen up. Before exiting the room, I quickly inspect my leg, it seems to be healing up quite quickly, a little bit tender. I put some extra padding around my leg, to add a little bit of protection to the wound. I'm ready, I walk outside, but I realise I have no idea what Krista can do, or what the training is going to be, so I start charging, so i can be ready.
Alright Chase, I'm Ready.

Alright, Krista, Magnum, begin.
Krista smiled and pulled out two small knives. She made two long cuts along her arms, blood flowed out of the cut and down her arms, dripping on the ground. Steam rose out of the ground and the grass withered and died. Raising her hand the blood swirled around her body.
Krista flung some blood in the direction of Magnum.

Magnum let out electricity, and enclosed himself in a ball of electricity as a shield. The blood made contact with the electric shield, and Magnum shot all the electricity towards Krista. He followed up with some quick movements of his hands sending out electricity with each movement.

solomon jumped out of his position on the van and said "can i join the rebels?"

Krista elegantly dodged the incoming electricity. More blood flowed from her arms and she surrounded Magnum with swirling blood.
Smiling wickedly Krista waved her arms and the blood raced towards Magnum.

Noticing a gap in the incoming blood, Magnum Ran as fast as he could to avoid it.
He then placed one hand on the ground, and shot a series of lightning bolts at Krista, they each missed, they were close. The electricity started to swirl around Krista, and the currents running along the ground formed it into a sphere. Magnum controlled the electrical sphere that controlled Krista pushing it high into the sky. He then collapsed the ball into Krista, and let her drop.

Chase shot an air blast and caught Krista before she hit the ground. (He will actually protect those he has deemed worthy).
Good, good, but lets see how you handle this.
Chase lifted his arm in Magnum's direction.
Krista, add your blood to this. Hurricane Blast!
Hurricane force winds started blowing towards Magnum and drops of blood burned though anything strong enough to withstand the wind, like bullets through flesh.
(your not gonna be able to sidestep this it has a very wide range)

High speed winds were coming towards Magnum, remembering what had happened in the dining room almost a week ago, he started to spin around, faster and faster until he had created a tornado large enough to slow down Chase's hurricane. Magnum then charged it with electricity, then with the same tactic as he had done with Krista before, he enclosed himself into a ball of electricity and flung himself into the tornado, passing through it, he ended up in the eye of the storm. Charging up his electrical energy for a minute or two, until he unleashed an electrical explosion, dispersing his shield and the high speed winds. The electrically charged acidic blood flew towards Chase and Krista.
with one last act, Magnum created a shield in front of the two, protecting them from the deadly projectiles.

Chase and Krista headed back inside the research facility. They arrived at the medical bay.
As Krista was getting her woulds stitched up, Chase spoke.

Walking back to the main building, I started to think about the people who were here before, the shape shifter, and the fast girl. Where had they gone? Why had they left? Chase doesn't seem like such a bad guy, he's trying to rid the world of evil to create the perfect world. Why didn't these people want that? Did they want evil? Are they evil? I might have to go after them. But i need sleep, I'll consider it in the morning.
Arriving at his room, Magnum started thinking about his powers. If I get tired by using electricity, can I absorb it, and would I feel energetic afterward?
Magnum saw the light bulb that had broken before, it was hanging by its wire. He took the bulb off of the wire, and by doing so he removed some of the plastic that insulated the wire. Grabbing hold of this, he concentrated on the electrical current that started to flow through him at an unbelievable rate, it was like new life. Still holding onto this wire, he looked at the window which overlooked the town below, lights were flickering on and off in these houses, and one by one, each house went dark.

The man led me into a room and sat down. A second, much older than any one I had ever seen, stood up and came over to inspect me.

The old man sat down and pressed a button. Three people came in. I was very nervous. My eyes turned blood red and my hand started to shift....

then solomon got out his staff and turned it into a sword and said "you sure?"
he then turned part of the van into a shield and armor and said "i bet i can help you against chace."
then they said "well since you do have powers you could help us so sure."
they then led me to a room and then one of them said
"we will get the others that have the same power as you so they can train you."
solomon then turned the sword back into a staff and put the rest of the metal all throughout his jacket saying "i'll need that metal later."

The lady stood up and started to speak...

A few weeks later..

I coldly whispered to the two scientist, who took me in as their own experimental game.
Steadily I bring my hands up focusing them towards the scientist and tubes.
"You would not kill us....we gave you excitement. You used to think everything was a drag. Don't think we haven't thought of this day coming, we won't die to our own doll.
I heard the scientist speak a little shaken, stuttering towards the end. I grin and walk towards the scientist. The other one steps backwards quickly getting his Gun from the table.
"I will fu*king kill you, what a waste of a failed subject!"
I laugh shooting back "You should run, not that it would do anything, but I will give you the F-ing satisfaction."

His body overloading with energy, started to discharge and discharge, over and over, but electricity still flowed, there must be a backup generator. I need to find that generator.
Magnum struggled to let go of his power source, the electricity was like a drug to him, eventually he let go. He aimed at the wall, and fired a bolt straight into it, shattering the bricks that it was made of. Magnum's powers seemed to be continuously developing, he closed his eyes, but could see yellow patches, they went throughout the walls and ceiling of the building. He could see electrical sources. He scanned the area until he found a bright yellow box, almost white. There it is. It seemed to be locked, but only a padlock separated Magnum from the generator. He held his hands over the lock, and created a magnetic field, after a few seconds, the lock opened.
Magnum pulled the doors open to find the impressive generator. He placed his hands on the metal box, and concentrated the flow to his hands. The generator was working at overtime to provide enough fuel for himself and the building. It suddenly stopped. It was out of juice.
Magnum looked down onto the darkened town. I know you're down there shifter...I will find you.

I dodged the younger boy, but got hit by the woman. I hit her in the face with a fox paw and shifted my legs into fox legs to jump out of the way of the third. They shifted back to human form and sat down again.

I fled into the forest, right next to a lake outside of the city, it was near where the dam busted.

Slashing at several trees, they fell, and during one slash, I hit a flint rock, and sparks ignited the timber ablaze.
"Oops, did I do that?"
I chuckled, semi-astonished at the dark aura I emenated..

Chase pushed a button and spoke into the PA system.
Magnum, Krista and squads delta and bravo report to the lab we're about to begin the operation.
Flipping the Pa off, Chase radioed Daren.

Chase waited excitedly for everyone to arrive.

Magnum walked into the town below, lit up by the flickering streetlights as he moved past them.
He tried his new found talent again, looking for any place that was still using electricity, shifter had to be there. Looking back up at the lab where he was only a short while ago, Magnum couldn't see any electrical usage.
A fire at the dam broke out, it provided an eerie glow to the town.
Sirens started, the fire department was getting ready. Magnum jumped down a nearby man hole into the sewers, to escape detection, this part of the sewer was somewhat cleaner than it should be, like people would walk through here often. Magnum walked along, looking for any sign of a door. occasionally stopping to look for electrical traces.
Eventually Magnum saw a very dull glow through his closed eyes, a weak electrical source was enough for him. He stared at the wall, trying to figure out what was there, or how to get there. He tried a magnetic field, nothing happened. He couldn't find an electrical source to overload. Eventually his anger and fury got the best of him, Magnum let out a loud cry, as he discharged a large amount of electricity from his body, Magnum had lost a lot of his energy, his vision faded, and he fainted...(still alive, just saying)

I heard sirens rapidly approach me, and soon enough, a Fire Engine stopped near me.
"Who are you, and did you start this fire?"
"Come now, I'm only a helpless girl, do you think I really burned those trees?"
"Well...no, but there are a lot of weird things happening here. You do look somewhat guilty, are you sure you aren't responsible?"
"Catch me if you can..."
"Wait! You didn't answer me!"
I sped up, jumped, and bounded off a tree, fleeing farther along the lake.

Krista and delta squad headed out into the city tracking Magnum.

They led me into yet another room and once again sat down. Like before they motioned me to join them. I sat down and waited for them to talk. We sat in silence for at least an hour when they finaly dicided to talk to me.
We will call you... Shippo. Shippo, you will learn to shift here. We will leave you here alone and you will see animals, if you want to eat...you will shift into that animal and learn how to use it.
With that they got up and left the room. I didn't even get to protest the name they gave me... Soon a screen appeared and a picture of a Guinea Pig was displayed on it. I easily shifted into the animal, but could not figure why any one would ever shift into this form. Then it hit me, no one in there right mind would pick this form in a million years. Almost as though the room had senced my thoughts the picture changed into one of a cheetah. This was easy I thought...

As soon as I shifted blades started flying at me from ever direction. I shifted into the guinea pig, it was all I could do to avoid the blades. The door opened and they walked in.

I woke up tied to a chair, I couldn't see any electrical traces so I opened my eyes but the lights were on, how could I not have detected that?
I aimed my fingers towards the wall, nothing, I cannot even fire electricity. I look directly at the light, I stare at it for a short while, nothing happens. How can my powers be inactive? How could I just lose them? What happened after the last training session?
I dozed back off to sleep.

Darren grabbed a grenade off of a dead squad member. Running up to the dragon he pulled the pin and managed to phase it thorough the dragons wing. Leaving the grenade in the wing, Darren jumped down and phased though a wall.

I heard a lot of rumbling below the ground.
"Oh, pooh. Here I am, a drifter, while you guys have all of the fun.
I pushed myself to see what my speed could do...
I looked at my reflection in the water.. or at least, I thought. I saw nothing. Nothing but water.
"Invisibility? Cool."
The only drawback is my vision vibrated, so I had trouble maintaining it for long, before it hurt my eyes.
Using my speed to bounce off a tree, high into the air, I saw a unique sight.. a Peregrine Falcon, half-human? I had to check this out. I fled, following it.

Jethro woke up after another nightmare, always the same one, his parents screams of agony as he hid within the walls of his house, "NO, CHASE, DON'T DO THI..." the intense heat that followed always woke him up.
He stood up, fully clothed. Jethro looked at himself in the reflection of the lake, today he could see more of his mother in his face. It was always a subtle change that he couldn't put his finger on, apart from the colour of his eyes changing from a steely gray to a jade green, there was another change in his face...
He turned around to see a blur bolt straight past him. Looking in its direction he saw an eagle flying, a little bit rare at this time of day. He noticed something strange about the eagle, he wasn't sure what exactly it was, but he decided to follow it.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see someone following me, this was how he would know where we were. I dive bombed into the woods and shifted into a fox, waiting for the person to pass...

After running for a while, I finally came to a place where I could see one person, and a fox hiding behind some trees, again, this fox looked different, something very subtle that made it look like less of an animal, but only slightly. It suddenly changed into a human. It started to make sense, I could see a difference in the falcon and the fox because I had my mother's eyes today, and because she was like this man, a shifter. I walked on up to them, slightly unsure of who this other person is.

Some one stepped on a branch. I shifted into the clubbed armed dragon again and roared in the direction of the new person...

I did as I was told, walked toward the tree, and I Saw him. A tree branch snapped, then he turned into a dragon, expecting an enemy. I pulled out my Skylian Daggers, Then Stood next to the Shifter
"Alright, Show yourself, and maybe we'll go easy on you."

Dragon, I know what you really are. My mother was one too. You can shift back to your human form. Hidden behind my shirt, I turned my chest into metal, just as a precaution to this other person. I mean you both no harm.

Yume silently sat in her room, the door was locked. With her eyes closed she listened to the sounds she heard overall in the prison. She knew, that whatever she would do, it won't have any effect because there is nothing she can't do if she is in a locked room. Completely divided from any musical instrument.

A little peeved at Lance's insensitivity, I let it go, for I knew what chase can do to your life. The helicopter flew overhead, I saw Lance shift into a fox, I use the trees as my method of transportation when I get the chance, my hands changed slightly, my pinky moved to the side of my hand to form an extra thumb, I started jumping from tree to tree, making sure i was always under leaves while I still had a good view of where Lance was heading. I was finding it hard to balance, so I grew out my tail bone, into a real tail, just for now.

Yume heard a door unlocking, she opened her eyes. It was the same guy like always. He always came to take me to the breakroom for dinner. The guy clicked an collar made of metal around her body.
"I feel like a dog..."
"Listen kid, we're not going to complain about this every time I chain you. Now get on the move or there will be no food for you tonight."
"Tch, fine. It's not like I can do anything at all without a Instrument..."
The sound of metal chains rang through the room and they went off for the breakroom.

I went Hyper, and my Invisibility kicked in, I ran at Blurring speed and followed the Shifter.

Eventually I found what I was looking for. A tree stump with an odd mark on it. I reshifted and walked up to the stump. I put my good hand on the stump.
Get close to me.

"Hey, Shifter. Why did you take me to a stump?"

I pushed the mark into the tree and the stump moved. It lead to a staircase that led into the ground.

At the sound of the foot steps I shifted and hit the ground, putting a wall of ground between us and the new people.

Just as I said that the tunnel opened up to a large cavern.

Silently Yume walked with the collar around her body. She was held on a chain by her warden. When she looked behind her she saw a bored look on his face. Yume could think why he would be bored like that. All he has to do daily is bringing Yume to the break room for food. They rather don't want their experiments to die famished.
However, if he really is that bored then he's probably careless about holding the chain... Yume thought. Als she gotta do is wait for the right moment to suddently pull the chain. She kept walking, silently. She had to wait for the right moment to strike.

"Nice place you have here, Shifter. Which reminds me, I never did get your name... I'm known as Alias, what about you?"

I thought for a sec and realized why the other shifters had given me a second name.

A large group of people came up to us and demanded to know who we were.

The female shifter stepped in front of the group of men and validated who I was.

She indicated me to follow her into a near by hall and told the others to take the new people to the quaritine rooms. She led me down a few halls before we reached a room that had the word Shifters above the door. She opened it and led me in. I couldn't believe my eyes, there were barely 10 people in there.
Why are there so few of us?

One of the guards walked up to the switch and pressed it, a barrier went up between the guards and the new people.

Yume kept on walking in silence, carefully listening to the chains. The sound of rattling chains called through the hall. The guy behind her wasn't holding the chains very tight. As Yume could hear it. She quickly turned around tugging the chain. She saw the chain slipping out of the hand of her warden. She saw a shocked reaction on his face and began to run. "Hey! Get back here!" The warden shouted. Yume didn't listen. She had to get dispose of the chain. It rattled loudly. She didn't know where to run to until she saw an open door she went in. What she saw was a chair and a piano. She couldn't resist the urge. She sat down on the chair. Quietly she stared at the piano. She rested her fingertips on the piano. A song came up in her mind and started playing it. The warden rushed into the room and was about to grab the chain that lay on the ground. Yume added more strenght in the song and suddently a bolt of sound shot at the warden knocking him unconsinous. Yume turned around Looking at the warden.
"... Intresting... A perfect moment to escape..."
She stood up picked up the chain to prevent it from making any more sounds and ran, looking for a way getting out of the building.

Yume heard a lot of footsteps on running pace. They came in her direction. She started running faster. The chain she held rattled loudly. "Darn, I make too much noise... But I have no choise, let's run for it for now and find a shelter to hide."

Tracking devices? Whatever was meant by that, I decided to go along with it, why wouldn't I, they are trying to stay safe, so they have to be certain of new people. It makes sense.

"We've reached the cell block, it seems subject 457 escaped.
Dam it, we've had to much of this happening lately. Have the squad spread out and find number 457. I'll have the other squads lock down the exits.

Daren and his squad broke up and started searching the cell block.

Yume held her breath. Keeping herself as silent as she could. She has to find another musical instrument to fend them off, otherwise she's done for. She tried to walk as swiftly and silent as she could. She looked around through various rooms, looking for instruments. She couldn't find any. It didn't suprise her anyway. She has to go back to the room with the piano but where was that? She became disoriëntated by the labytrinth of halls.

Daren, leave the capture of subject 457 to alpha squad, I've made a breakthrough with Magnum's mind and body. Get to the lab now.

Placing alpha squad in charge of locating the escapee, Daren ran towards the lab.

One of the older shifters had stood up and started to talk.
Because, we are the most dangerous to Chase. We are the few who managed to excape the labs before he killed all the shifters.

We learned to much, and we were the first to break away from him and spread the word of his plan. Now come, you have much to learn, and not much time.
He took my hand and took me to a door that had my shifter name one it.

Yume's heart was pounding with fear and excitement. If she would get captured the punishment would probably be huge. "I'm screwed If I gonna get captured." She whispered out loud. She really has to get rid of the chain. But first she needs to find a way outside. She saw a window at the end of the hall. Carefully she crept to it and looked around if there were any gaurds. Silently she looked down through the window, watching if she could jump out. It was pretty high and it would certain to break something if you jump out.
"HEY!" One of the gaurds shouted at Yume. Yume looked in shock at the gaurd. From the other sides also gaurds appeared. She was cornered. There was no other way. She opened up the window and lept out without thinking.

I realised that I still had my knuckle spikes, I quickly got rid of them, hoping that they didn't think that me having them out was a threat.

With that the guard opened the door and let them out. Three more met the group and took them to the Old Man.

I started to get a bit anxious due to the little response I was getting.
Do any of you know where I can find Chase, he needs to die. The sooner the better.
I couldn't believe that they were all just hiding here, what of Chase would make him so fearful towards a group of superpowered humans.

Then he walked up to the guy and grabbed his hand.
You on the other hand...You seek vengeance. Chase killed your parents, let me tell you, you will find no releafe of pain by killing him. But we can always use a second gen shifter. You two will be taken to your respective groups and there you will stay.
The old man sat down again and looked as though he fell asleep.

Yume had a grim look on her face. She landed in a thrash bin when she took her leap of faith. She quickly climbed out of the bin. "Eww..." She said out loud. But she kept herself remembering that she has to run. Since she isn't in the building anymore the sound of rattling chains was reduced. She made her run into the forest. She kept running, until she bumped into a shield keeping her from moving on. "So... There wasn't only the room I was held captive as security measure..." She whispered to herself. She punched the shield a few times. She gave up and sat down on de ground. "I'm still not free..."

I do not seek a relief of pain. That is not why I want chase dead, I want to make sure other children get to spend their childhoods with their parents, and not have chase take them away.

My spine started to grow spikes, same with my knuckles. I coated them with my metal. I still am not sure of what I can fully do. The metal flowed onto the rest of my body, covering it all.

Still sharing the room alone with the Old Man, I decided to get information.
"So, Old man.. What do you have in mind for Chase? Are you preparing a force to strike him down? Surely, he must be killed.."

Daren, Krista. I've found a way to copy the cells in Magnum's brain that gave him his power. I've combined his cells with the cells from subject 37, who died a while back. I'm hoping to combine the speed and electric with 37's ability to track people with powers. Using a parasite, I was able to transfer both powers into subject 510. The only problem is... the parasite took control of 510 and it only has one goal. Track and kill people with powers in order to absorb their power
Then it's of no good to us.
No, it is actually going to be really useful. I plan on releasing it in the city. It will track down the resistance and destroy them.
Chase radioed for a helicopter to take his creation into the city.

I focused on myself, this had to be how to find your inner animal, I kept looking, searching through my memory. What animals had I connected with before? An image appeared in front of my closed eyes, the room looked different, I had a better range of sight, almost 180 degrees. I caught a sight of a snake, I looked at it again, I was looking at a mirror. My inner animal is a snake...

"... Now what..." Yume wispered to herself taking place underneath a tree. She looked at a broken branch. It was completely hollow. All she could think of was getting punished really badly for escaping. Who could she trust? She picked up the branch studying it quietly. When she blew on the branch a quiet monotone sound could be heard. An idea came to her mind as she picked up a sharp rock from the ground. She made small holes in the branch and then tested the branch again. It had more diffrent tunes now. Her long fingertips automatically closed and opened the holes while she blew on the branch. A little peaceful song quietly sounded through the leaves and the forest.

I woke up from a weird dream. I cant see anything at first because there are no lights. I feel something cold on my ankel and I feel around for whatever it is. It was a metal ring attatched to a chain... am I a prisoner? Well first I got to find a damn light switch. I get up and feel around the room that I can get to because apparantly im chained to something in the floor. Eventualy I find a switch on the wall and I flip it. A lightbulb flickered on, and I could see im in a jail cell. OK, what did I do? The only thing I could remember is my name, Kokoshi Byou. I felt a bit strange, and light headed. I looked at my chain and then looked around for something I could break it with. Nothing.Helooooo? Is anyone there? Can someone answer me?
I hear a flute from somewhere outside the cell. Eh?
