Hiya guys,
Yuki here, Today i'll be serving you some of my work right here. These will mainly contain fakemon.
Before you go watch my pic's I want you to read these rules:
- No arttheft, or I unleash my cookie fury.
- First ask my permission for using sprites.
- If you want to use any of my sprites credit them.
- I know how much some people like to just write to like my sprite or dislike it. But I'm most happy if someone can point out what is wrong with my sprites or what is so amazing about them. That way I can improve.

Not bad. Pretty nice. Your level is pretty good, so you are the person I can welcome in the Art Board.

If you want to somebody use it, make it Transparent

People won't just decide not to use them because they don't have a transparent background. They can make it transparent too.
These are very good. If you're old enough, you might be accepted as a pixel artist for PU.

I find that your scratch sprites are better because they are more realisitic, whereas your splices are good indeed, but I'm still trying to figure out what the finished product is supposed to be.
Either way, Excellent Pixel Art, and I expect great things for you, Yukimenko.

I didn't say it was a crime. I told you that you missed spots. All I did was tell you that you missed something when you were making a transparent background, and your acting like I told you that you're horrible at making a transparent background. All I did was point something out. You don't have to get pissed just because someone points out one of your mistakes.

Thanks, at first the headcrest was going to be the wing of the Pokémon. (first had a bugtype in my head but when I turned the wing I was like: wow... Cool headcrest ~)

I'm sorry, but I literally lol'd when i saw this! It reminded me of that jake long american dragon cartoon if he had the downs... just had to say it. also, bump for good pixel artist

By the looks of it, you first take the shade out, then the color before you re-color the outline,fillin the color & shade, then finally add sharpness. Am I not correct?

First I take diffrent kind of parts, from these parts I make a diffrent kind of limb.
But because I do this, the entire shading sceme gets messed up and would look this:

So I highlight the parts I use and order these in diffrent catogories to avoid anatomy confusion. And edit a few outlines here and there to make it look more smooth.
Then I choose the colour palette. (this one happens to be exactly the maximum amount of colours (including Black and White) you're allowed to use in the official DS games: 16) And give each part a colour.
Then the shading begins, not forgetting the outline which also helps creating even more depth into the sprite and keeping the rule in mind that the light source is always coming from left above.
