Title: Marvel or DC Comics & Top 5 Characters

Ok so basically which do you think is best and base your opinions off the cartoon not the hollywood films. For me i'd say DC Comics wins because every character is so bad ass and i love it, and unlike marvel there is a lot of death and blood involved. Marvel is good but i don't think it's great. I think the only good things about marvel are the hollywood films which is what i don't want this poll to be based on.

Also what are your top 5 characters from any of the Companies or both. Here is my top 5.

Company: DC Comics
1. Batman - Bad ass motha f***  8)
2. Superman - Not overrated there's a reason everyone likes him he's a bad ass  ;D
3. Jona Hex - YES the infamous Jona Hex no one likes him yet he does what he has to do to protect the innocent.
4. Joker - We all love the Joker
5. Death Stroke - ... nuff said.

both r good but i chose DC comics.if u include hollywoodfilms then marvel is better.

Have you seen Batman: Under the Red Hood ? If not i HIGHLY recommend it .... possibly one of the best Batman anime movies out there ...... Yea if based off Hollywood films then marvel would win.

These aren't anime. They are comics/cartoons. Anime/manga is Japanese.

The only comic/cartoon/movie/videogames I like are really Batman.
(Superman and Spiderman are kind of overrated.)

Saying animation is like saying movie. Cartoons and anime both fall under it. Its quite a broad term.

I'd have to say DC, since I've never cared for marvel.

- Jonah Hex (DC: From the movie "Jonah Hex".)
- The Joker (DC From the movie "The Dark Knight".)
- Rorschach (DC: From the movie "Watchmen". Strange nobody mentioned him before.)
- Hit-Girl (Marvel: from the movie "Kick-Ass".)
-Big Daddy (Marvel: from the movie "Kick-Ass".)

I don't read comics, so my heroes are assambled from the movies mentioned before.

Thanks for clearing it up and good list  :D .......... BTW anyone here think new superhero cartoons are ruining good old cartoons? Like i walked in my sisters room and she was watching some Marvel cartoon and they looked ridiculous, they were all tiny (little bodies and big heads) i was like wt........... and who else thinks in the anime spider-man has they cheesiest puns ever ........ i also hate batman the brave and the bold just because the way its drawn i was like noooooooooooooooooooooooooo i wanna see cool super heroes again

well i guess i could rage all day of how bad cartoons are now a days
