This is not the finished tileset, This is what we have thus far
Now we Need your HELP!!
we just want suggestions and criticism and we'll make the pokemart exactly how you want it :)
Get creative guys!! Lets Do This !! Just Remember!! ur gonna be visiting this place a Hell load of times :D

Looks great! Though it feels kinda empty. Maybe a few more shelves to make some aisles?

Try adding a Widescreen TV on the wall, that always works.

I agree shelves would be a nice touch. Maybe also some posters on the walls that when read promote various products or have a list of deals. It might be cool to have special deals each week, though that's more of a suggestion for the game programmers.

Very nice ;D and yes a wide screen on the corner or on a wall would look great. Also it probably looks dull because of the colors but that's just me. Maybe add shelves that are attached to the wall and put detailed items on it to add some swasasssssssssszzzzzzzzzzzz 8) . Vending machine? or those built in refrigerators that you find at CVS 7eleven ect where it has a clear door maybe put that in there

Maybe you could add some stock behind the counter.
And also a plant or something decorative on the counter would be a nice addition.

Right at the entrance, it could use a tray of newspapers or something of the sort. All stores have newspapers at the entrance.

Maybe put a glass showcase that has different types of pokeballs in it?

A trash and recylcling bin. Great way to advertise on keeping things clean, and adds a bit of realism to the place. Whoever heard of a store without trash recepticles?

Its very green.
You might want to add some other colors to compliment the blue of the poke mart, all of the colors are too same-y.

Like some said, too empty. Instead of adding more stuff you can also scale the room down too, whichever looks better. Also, there should be at least one pokemart with a disco ball, a dj behind some turtables, and blaring techno music playing from some giant speakers on the walls. Have some pokemon with glow sticks raving. Shady team rocket thugs selling some E. Awesomeness.

Working on the new Copy, Looks much better than the last one :)
Btw, we cant scale it down, remember its an MMORPG, There will be LOADS of players, we dont want it looking too cluttered, if anything, i was thinking we need to make it much bigger lol

Just an idea, but if there will be an intro to PU (like in the original games where two Pokémon battle it out before the "Play" comes up) It would be fun to watch that on the TV. For the middle, have some kind of Art or a rug with colors and all.

I think the next step is pretty unanimous. A flat tiled floor doesn't look that appealing from above, but with the volume of players frequenting a place like this you wouldn't want anything too complicated. I'm thinking like the mats you can have in DPPt's secret rooms in the underground

It looks nice, clean and orderly, but it looks like a quiet place, like it's never visited. So what I suggest is make it a little more messy, not messy in the style of a full floor, but perhaps an ad stand or something (visual) which gives random messages.
Perhaps a hip poster on the wall? Or even better... A Slogan! Like:
Gotta catch 'em all, with this new Pokéball! for example.
Of course, it shouldn't become a maze, so just the ad stand on the floor or something, and the Slogan on the wall next to the cashier thingy.
The flowers should be swapped with something else however, like a box of pokeballs.
It looks nice btw!

Honestly I think it looks good, I really don't think that it needs to be updated much, aside from replacing flowers with actual store items.

But the question remains... Are those flowers? At first sight, I thought of them as berries. But then, I don't really see the point in selling berries, well, not much point anyway. And I'm not changing my past suggestions Prash, and they are still not in the picture :P

Agreed. They look more like fruit more than flowers, and any typical store sells fruit.

I was reading the story earlier and it said something about mew going missing so what if you put up a poster to do with finding a mew like:
MISSING: Mew
if seen report to (someone)

Hmm... I'm not sure about that. The Mew doesn't belong to anyone, so it wouldn't really make sense for someone to put up posters. You most likely wouldn't even be able to read the posters anyway. There would probably just be some kind of graphic on them.

I couldn't get hold of you Prash, so I figured I'd put my suggestion on here with everybody else: Seeing as most of the marts will be similar, how about a little sign with the name of the current town in?

where players can put up fliers (hypothetically... you just click and see notices) such as "wanting to trade a blastoise for charizard" for example. or even where they can sell rare items, masterball/max revives.
Just my 2 cents.. :/

Actually, that's a really cool idea, Shaynoh! It doesn't have to be in the poke'mart, but there should be some kind of a notice board like that.
Edit: Upon further consideration (yeah, like 2 seconds), it makes the most sense for something like that to be in the poke'mart.

One thing I'd be happy about, is if you would make it so that it's just a straight walk to the main person who sells the stuff like Pokéballs and potions so that I don't have to change directions (yes I know, I'm lazy).

OR, the other option to anger us is actually put a black hole in the pok'mart. :)
And I do like it so far. ^^
I prefer having a few tables around the middle area or open spaces. :)

u should have digmon/yugioh cards/magazines rack just for lolz XD
serious note a pokedoll shelfing would be a nice touch, i like the future items sneak peak idea, a easter egg would be nice (not the chocolate kind), advertising for sponsers there is a idea, eg if kit kat sponsered u have a kit kat stands, posters ect.. lol newpaper stand that has updates of the game its self maybe..

I think it would be better if you would put more product display like the original pokemart

If possible, a floor pattern like the one Pokécenters have in Ruby/Sapphire would be great. The flowers look good design wise, but I don't think they fit here, they could certainly be replaced with product shelves instead. Other than that and a few extra details pointed out by users, a couple NPC's around the shop would be alright as well.
EDIT: I don't know if anyone pointed this out. I never played Black/White but I love the idea of having the Mart and the Pokécenter inside the same structure. It is much more convenient as it serves more purposes.
I also won't brag myself, but I've heard a few people saying they'd stick around inside the Pokécenter for a long time just for the chillout background music lol. So there would be another reason to stay inside.

I was sorta thinking that the window things behind the counter should be replaced with something like a pokeball dispenser; and maby some symbol on the floor to remove some of the emptiness from the room. Mabye even a small table with a chair somewhere. I'm just givin idea's.

I don't really like the positioning of all the windows behind the counter. I would put 2 behind the counter and then space out the other 2 evenly behind the three shelves.
I also am not a fan of the color schemes. The greenish tiles for the floor make the plant in the corner blend in. I would try either a different color scheme or darken the current one. The pokemart should be a lively area and this color scheme just doesn't thrill me a whole lot.

Sorry I did not see this most recent one. I like it for the most part, but the positioning for the TV on the wall doesn't look right to me. Maybe center in the middle of the 3 shelves? I like the idea of having a TV hanging on the wall, displaying news, upcoming sales, or events.

Maybe put put some stands with items on it such as Potions and Pokeballs. I also agree with all the other ideas as wel.

How about a little statue resembling a male character, and have it list the player names of people that gave suggestions of how to construct the poke mart interior?
Oh, and here is a real good idea, How about a door behind the counter? it would be an entrance to the back rooms/storage room (of course you couldn't go into it, it would just be for decoration) it ? I think it will make the place better and more realistic.

This is a game, yes, but you're on the forum. The Pokemon Universe game is not ready yet for playing and there is an open beta planned soon, so just stay around and you can read more about it on the forum.
Otherwise, that's not the place to ask such a question.

This is supposed to be a simple pokemart, so no storeys. Guards at the door would only be adding things that will crowd the place even more... :-\ What would be their use anyway?

Hey, how about a poster showing some of the Pokemon world's items. Something like:
Moomoo Milk...
Poffin Guide 2012 book...
Cheats to Pokemon emerald book...
Oran berry recipes book...
Lava cookies...
Of course, you wouldn't be able to buy that stuff in the pokemart. The poster would just say that stuff.
