story:
There is a place in the pokemon world that is detached from time and space; On a fateful night, events happened their that made the whole area, including the town itself
....vanished.
Whenever the anniversary of the area’s disappearance happens, wandering people from all over the pokemon world are drawn into this horrible limbo. No matter where they are, they all end up walking down this wooded path, the sounds of nature slowly fades away to eerie silence as they make their way to a fork in the road. Some have been making their way down the corridors of a building when the walls slowly changed to trees, the tiles underneath their feet turning into dirt roads...Some had been happily traveling on their first journey with their starter pokemon and had fallen asleep, only to wake up in an unfamiliar place, their camp supplies in the middle of a dirt road. People have walked in on their own, or they had walked in with others at the same time. However whoever wanders in here has always ended up becoming doomed forever...will you be different?
Players who wish to participate have two options
One: Trainer: You can be any kind of person you want, trainer, breeder, officer jenny, anyone. However your bio must include something your characters bravery level, something they are afraid of and something that your character couldn’t ignore/resist

Collected Pokemon (If Any):
Bravery Level (Cowardly to Brave):
Example: Officer Jenny is brave, but is afraid of spiders, and whenever she here’s someone call for help she has to check it out.
This way, they have an idea on how their character would react to scary situations and be able to role play off it
Two: you can either play as a ghost that inhabits one specific area and is a lot harder to fight, or a wandering ghost that can scare people on the streets but cant go into buildings. Players of R.P’s must describe how their character had died, whether they were murdered, commited suicide, any number of things. This will give your ghost a specific motif, and all ghosts must repeat the words they said on the last moments of their death…and the thoughts that were running through their heads when they had died
Example: died with her arms chopped off: floats towards players wailing “MY ARMS…MY ARMS….why?”

How character died (the more horrifying the better):
type of spirit( free roaming spirits that terrorize players on the streets, or spacial spirits/poltergeists that stay in one place and are a lot harder to deal with):
As a trainer, your pokemon will naturally be scared of its surroundings, and depending on their fear level, they may not be able to function properly in the world. Ghosts for the moment are immune to any and all attacks, however acquiring certain items in the place will allow you to drive off the ghosts temporarily, giving you time to run away and find clues.
The goal: find what has caused the forsaken land to become displaced from reality and how to reverse it, allowing the tortured spirits to be free and you to return to the land where you came from. The ghosts goal is to scare them and make it harder for them to solve the mystery.
Note: Traditional Ghost type pokemon are not immune to attack, only pokemon and humans that died inside the Forsaken Town have this effect

For the moment you cannot move, all you know is that you are on the ground with your eyes closed, slowly gaining consciousness as you feel the warmth of a glowing fire. A staticy song is playing in the background...probably from some radio you cannot see....it sounds old and dreamy, and there is a slightly sinister edge to it...something about it sends a chill down your spine
are the stars out....tonight...
There is someone with you... he has a raspy voice and is singing quietly along with this tune...almost by instinct...as if he had been listening to the same song over and over for a long while
I don't know if its cloudy...or bright....
Your eyes start to flutter as you gain consciousness, and you see the flame that had been warming your cold body. It looks like it has been burning for a while, its obvious that whoever was keeping it going was using anything he could as kindling. you see the boots of the man now. he is sitting on a log, shifting his weight from time to time...you can tell he is rather thin.
I only have eyes.....for you....dear
You are now fully awake, what do you do?

I awoke by the warmth of a fire, hearing some strange song from somewhere. I couldn't tell what it was, but my guess was it was from the jazz era. It took a bit for my eyes to adjust, but I could tell I wasn't alone. There was a thin man by the fire.
Where am I? Who are you? Where is my backpack?
I was in Ilex forest before passing out, I traveled through it many times, but I never seen this area before.

The old man looked down at Maxwell
the moon...may be high...
he mouths the words and stares off in the distance

He muttered something completely off topic towards me.
The moon may be high? What the hell are you talking about?
I approached him to get a better look at him, and maybe slap some sense into him, because he was obviously insane. I had my hand ready on Houndoom's pokeball, in case this situation got messy.

but I cant see a thing in the sky.....
the man kept staring into the distance, even with Maxwell being so close to him, he looked like he was in his own little world

This is ridiculous!
I raised my hand to strike him, but I couldn't do it, I looked in the direction he was facing, and I seen what looked like a town.
What is that place?
I went to look back at the man.

The man had stood up while Maxwell wasnt looking, he was staring him right in the face.

So i finally get your attention huh? Seriously, what was with all that talk? Why don't you want me to go to that town?
I had more questions, but I wanted to be sure I had his attention. The sound in his voice was unreadable, I didn't know if he was serious, or just another senile old man.

I could feel a living in the limbo zone. It was that time of year again. The only time I ghost like myself could even hope to claim an end. This time the living was heading strait towards me. I hid in the shadows, I would eat his soul, and find an end to this nightmare...

This man obviously didn't know what he was talking about, he went back to his weird chanting. I felt it as not being too wise to stay around here. I looked around for my backpack, and found it by a bush.
You're obviously insane, and I would love to get you help, but I think I would rather find a Pokemon center and restaurant. Maybe they'll have cookies.
I started my walk towards the town, I didn't bother looking back.

"Hello...Hello?" A woman was walking through the streets of a deserted town...she had been awoken by this crazy man...she had ran for help..but the place seemed deserted

I had enough of the crazy man. He was ranting over mist, something completely harmless. Without even thinking twice, I kept going steadfast into town. It was too far to run, but I picked up pace and sped towards it. I made it halfway and stopped to rest a bit.
I think that place is either moving, or I just haven't gotten enough exercise.
Somehow, saying that small joke made me feel good, given the fact that I still didn't know where the hell I was.

Standing right beside maxwell was a little girl, In the mist it was hard to see her feet, but she was wearing a white dress and tilting her head to the side, smiling at Maxwell

This question sent a chill up my spine for some reason. How could she not hear that voice. I am legion. I looked around a bit to find it's source, but I also didn't want to be rude.
Look, I hate to say this, but an adult being friends with a little girl is kind of weird, and frowned upon. Besides, I think you should head home, maybe your parents are wondering where you are.
I still wondered about that voice. What was this legion?

Her voice changed into something almost sinister, I reacted quickly.
Lets go Houndoom!
Out my Houndoom came, and he stood at attention at the site of the child, and sensed something more within her, and growled fiercely. My only guess was this was some kind of Pokemon.
I understand. Houndoom, hit it with Flamethrower, uncover this Pokemon.
Flames quickly shot at the girl.

the girl laughed as flames erupted around her body...it seemed to go right through her
silly...Im not a pokemon...
she raised her hand and made houndoom float in the air, it yelped as is jaw clamped shut

I stared as he suffered, the yelp echoed through my mind. I had to act fast, or I don't know what will happen. I pulled out his Pokeball.
Houndoom! Return!
The red beam was a direct hit. If this truly was a Pokemon, he would never be able to return, but he did. I stared at the girl, more angry than afraid.
I don't know what the hell you are, but no one touches my Pokemon and gets away with it.
I acted big, but quickly turned and started to run in the direction I came, but the mist was too thick, how was I supposed to know if I was going the right way?

Maxwell felt something grip his legs...two decrepit transparent hands were poking out of the ground and holding onto his ankles
rotted faces of two ghosts...a male and a female opened their gaping mouths as the pushed out from the ground
say hi to mommy and daddy

It was no use, they had a good grip on me. I didn't see how I was going to do this. what that man said, he was right. If I scream, maybe he would hear me, or someone. I opend my mouth, looked to the sky and yelled.
HELP!!
I heard my cry echo into the distance, but I kept on struggling.
(This is the part where someone can save me, please, I don't want to die.)

A torch was thrown from a distance right in front of maxwell, he watched in amazement as the mist recoiled from the flames...as well as the hands of "mommy and daddy

The girl turned around with a darkened expression

The old deranged man was walking in with another torch held high

he looks to Maxwell

I almost pissed myself, but I was actually happy to see this guy. Without a word, I obeyed him, and headed back to the place I started. I didn't know how fast I was going, but it felt as though it was taking forever. At least I'm away from whatever the hell that was.

Maxwell gets pushed down on a log back at the camp site, and he is thrown a luke warm can of brown beans

What the hell man, how is it your torch was able to do something, but my Houndoom's flamethrower did nothing? And what's with the attitude, why didn't you tell me in the first place? Glad to meet her?! She said she ate her god damn parents, and they came out of the ground!
I relaxed a bit, I was angry scared, and knew it wasn't his fault.

I reached in my bag for a can opener to open the beans, maybe food would calm my nerves.

Where are we? We are everywhere, we are nowhere, we are frozen yet we keep moving on and on and on and on and on and on…. See my watch? It says 11:59….it has been 11:59 a loooooooooooong time now…..it never changes, its all the same all the time…except people keep coming in and going into the mist…

Why do you think this place is safe? See that fire? Its mine…its good, the only good thing left…real fire is hard to make in this place, everything is damp with the mist…pokemon fire does nothing against the mist, only real fire, real fire is the key, without real fire you can be attacked..you can be tricked…without real fire you are as good as dead….that is why I stay here, I stay here to keep the fire burning, keep me alive till I can escape…

Somehow, this person reminded me of my dad, always wise, but I never listened to him until I got in trouble.

I wasn't going to get any help from this guy, but I wasn't going to go back alone.
I don't know what happened here, and I know it's hard, but I want to help. Nothing you can say will make me choose otherwise. You want out of here as much as I do, and sitting by the campfire is not going to solve anything.
It took me a while to realize that I had an open can of beans, and I just spilled what was probably my dinner for tonight.
By the way, if you're stuck to this spot, how did you get a can of beans?

The mist ebs and flows like the ocean...we are at the equivilant of hightide right now, at the moment practically everything is shrouded in mist

I began designing a plan in my head, but every point I seen failing horribly.
You probably guessed it, but I have my mind set on this. i have some paper and pens in my bag, can you draw me a map of the place? I want to know the area, and I promise to go only when you say so, and if I'm not going alone. I will need a few people as well. I guess I have no choice but to wait until someone drops in.
I placed the craft supplies beside him, hopefully he would understand he will now be able to convince me. And if others drop by as well, I would have to convince them.

well...I'm sure if your going down there you'll find one of those nifty maps I've drawn...just make sure you dont run into lucy or her lovely ghosts...oh and dont go into houses...ghosts in houses makes ghosts walking in the streets look like stray cats...except for lucy of course

I sat on my own little log, the one he pushed me onto after he saved me. I rested my eyes a bit, but i guess it took a little while, cause I was fully asleep in no time. Guess all the excitement took a lot more out of me.

For a few moments after being fully awake, I watch the man, taking in his features. He was thin, that much was clearly obvious. Now, the question was, is he friend or foe? I roll onto my side, quickly sweeping my feet beneath me, so I sit in a crouch on the ground. The man makes no move towards me, so I crouch for a moment, to take in my surroundings. I look around, my head never turning from its position facing the man. There was the campfire that had warmed me. The log the man sat upon. The area around us was full of a thick white mist, only kept back by the bright flames. Then, sitting across from the man, another man, recently awakened I'd say, by the expression on his face. I could see the pokemon balls at his waist. I took that as a good sign.
"Who are you?"
I waited silently, still in my crouched positions...

I eyed the other one, Maxwell. He certainly seemed more friendly than Calvin. Then I glanced at my surroundings. Based on them, that might not be a advantage. My gaze landed on Maxwell again. I decided to take a chance. Rising from my crouch, I took a few steps forward.
Maxwell made some comment about the mist, and Calvin replied sharply. I smirked.
"Go on. You need help?"

Yes. This guy is trapped here, which means so are we. I can't explain it so well, so I'll leave that for him to explain. By the way, since you know our names, what is yours?

I paused for a moment. I wasn't used to giving out my name. But I supposed now wasn't the time to be rude. After all, these people seemed like my only chance of learning what was going on.

I waited for Calvin to give us the rundown, which meant I had to stay quiet for now.

Basically, we're going to figure out what happened here, stop Lucy, and get out of here. And yes, pokemon will not help us here..

I took a few more steps forward, so that I was at least on the same side of the fire as them, instead of staring across the flames at them.

I stared, kind of ticked by this man. He obviously isn't giving us the whole story. I heard Ayara say something, but my attention was on Calvin.

That doesn't make me feel better at all. You're going to tell me what happened here, the whole story. Since we have all the time in the world, I would love to know exactly what more we would have to face, and how our Pokemon will be effective again.

I watched Calvin carefully. He must have been here for a very long time.

She is the mist...the mist is her...something happened, and the mist came....I saw everyone I ever knew...they killed eachother...they killed themselves...I am the only one who figured out to stay out of the mist

I think you owe her a full explanation. All I hear is random babblings and snide remarks. Cut the crap, and start talking.
I couldn't sit back any longer and listen to him drag us in circles.

I took a few paces forward, settling cross-legged between the ends of the 2 logs.
"Do we have any sort of weapon? We won't last long without a way to defend ourselves. Especially not against a ghostly little girl who apparently is a whole mist."
"It seems to me that going into this unarmed and ignorant is the last thing we need."

he turned to maxwell "see? she knows how to talk to her elders, not like some people
the old man gestured to the fire "man made fire...thats about it...the mist doesnt like fire...because she was afraid of fire"

Simple enough, but why did you throw the torch you brought when you saved me?
There was probably more to this, seeing as he tends to leave a lot of details out.

I closed my eyes. 'If we need torches, it means we can't move too far from a source of fire at any one time... This limits things...'

Thanks for the encouraging words. But I think we should wait for one more person to show up. Three sets of eyes would probably be a better deal than just two sets.
I wanted to act brave, but I was scared. I knew walking in undermanned meant death, and I wouldn't want to drag someone into something unless I knew they were ready.

I gave Calvin a sideways look.

I looked over to Maxwell.
"Any idea how long it'll be before someone else arrives?"
I could see it in his eyes. He was scared. I'd seen that look plenty of times on the streets. But inside, I was a little scared too. Course, you'd have to be insane not to be. Only a fool wouldn't be afraid in our situation.
I glanced over as Calvin made his pessimistic prediction.
"And you've gone farther than this fires ring of light for something other than food HOW many times...?"

I was at a loss for words, I had the plan, but I didn't take into account Lucy or how exactly to solve this. I sat silently, obviously, he had a lot to say, and I was just interrupting. Ayara seemed more level headed than me, I felt as though she should continue to ask the questions.

my theory has to do with why this mist is here, or why lucy is the mist...though I am fussy on that myself, even though I was their when it happened

You see...I was there when the mist came...I had taken my niece to the carnival that had just came to town...and we were in the fun house...and she had went and got lost...and when I saw her...she was getting surrounded with this energy...things I had never seen before surrounded her...I tried to save her....but the mist came

that is where all this began...I thought locking the carnival off and hiding the keys would help...but it ended up making it worse

I was shocked at this explanation, and couldn't make sense of anything, Fatigue was getting to me, and all I can think about now was how hurt Calvin has to be.

that's why she hasn't really tried to kill me yet...I'm getting tired....one thing you got to know about this place, if you fall asleep, make sure that fire is as strong as it possibly can be...cause if it goes out while your out, your screwed

I took out my sleeping bag, and threw it on the fire. I wanted it to have as much fuel as possible. I proceeded over to the bush I found my bag at before, pulled off as much as I could, and brought it over to make the flames bigger.
How's that? I can get rid of my whole bag if you want.

I closed my eyes, maybe throwing my sleeping bag was not a good idea, but we were at least safe. I drifted into sleep.

I could smell the living, there were three of them. Soon there would be more, but the others, the others would beat me to them. I approached the camp of the three living, they were fast asleep. Ah... in their sleep I could more easily feed off of them, before consuming their souls.
The voices started talking again.

I extended my shadow, touching him only slightly. OH! He had such a strong and vibrant soul! Just touching him made the voices quieter. I got closer, touching him with my hand. I could feel the life flowing back into me. I wanted more, but i could feel the others getting closer. I had to fend them off, these living were mine!

Shark woke up very groggily, like he just awoke from the dead. He looked around, but his vision was blurry. He can see a mist though, and a bright light behind him. He thought he saw someone in the mist, but he walked tward the light, like it was calling him. Just then he snapped back into reality and sees he was about to walk into a fire. He sees something sucking the life out of a man.
...?!
He takes a burning stick without thinking and swings it at the ghost, yelling Go away!

I snap awake as I hear a yell. Sweeping my feet under me, I'm immediatly crouched, looking for the source. There! There was someone else here, attempting to fend off....well, I think it's a ghost. I glance over, grab a lit stick from the fire, and run to help him.
"MAXWELL! CALVIN! GET YOUR BUTTS AWAKE! THERE'S A GHOST!"

I jumped awake, only to find a boy and Ayara swinging a torch around. When my vision half focused, I seen a ghost, attempting to eat me somehow. I jumped up and moved close to the fire.
Ok you freak, lets see how you can handle three of us!
I grabbed a large stick with a good flame, and began jabbing at the spirit. The two people who tried to save me looked like they needed the help.

I heard Maxwell wake up, and saw out of the corner of my eye as he started to jab at the ghost.
"Good to see you up. Did you sleep well? *sarcasm*"
I sidestepped, so that i was next to the ghost, instead of in front of it, and swung my torch.

I took this time to get a small joke in, then went back to my assault on the spirit. Burning my sleeping bag was a good idea after all, we had a strong fire, and I don't know if I would have gotten out of it in time.

The boy seemed preoccupied, but I directed my attention to him while still jabbing at this spirit.

I noticed that Maxwell and that other boy were both jabbing, not swinging. i suppose in a smaller area like this, jabbing would be more effective... I stepped back a half pace, then lunged forward with the torch.
"Maxwell, from what I know, Calvin gave you fair warning before the first time you were almost killed....Speaking of which, is that old geezer awake yet?"

I looked over to Calvin, dead asleep, or dead in general. It was hard to tell.
I have two thoughts right now, and one doesn't look so good.
I wanted to be sure, but if I stopped trying to repel this spirit, I don't know what would happen to these two. I continued with ghost, Calvin's possible condition hanging at the front of my mind.

"Maxwell, check on Calvin. I'm sure we can hold off this thing for the little bit it'll take you. Especially since I don't plan on dying trapped in some limbo."
I shifted over so that I was in a position halfway between Maxwell's and my original position.

I backed up towards Calvin, making sure to put my torch back in the fire. I really hoped he didn't die on us.

"Oh yes, and as much as now isn't a good time, what's your name, boy?"

I hear the man that almost died ask me what my name was. I was about to answer... but then I realised I couldent remember my name... or why the hell I was there. So I made up one.
Before I could answer I hear the girl ask about "Calvin". Then I see the old man sleeping behind us.

I then remembered I was in the middle of stabbing a ghost with fire and continued on with the jabbin'.

I kept shaking Calvin, trying to get some response. I wasn't about to let him go now, he wanted things back to normal, I wanted to help. If he was gone, I didn't know what to do. Tears started to fall, I was thinking the worst.
He was strong enough to live this long, he has to be strong enough now.

I saw out of the corner of my eye as Maxwell shook Calvin, trying to get a response.

No, I don't. Never thought to bring. I always got my water from natural sources.
This had to be the worst possible time to be eco friendly. I went back to getting Calvin awake.

I start gettin kinda worried, my arm was getting tired, and the old man just wont wake up. I remember something though...

I grabbed Calvin's wrist, and waited to feel the sign of life. He was so thin, but I couldn't detect anything. Or maybe my heart was beating too fast for me to find anything. I was shaking all over.
Shark, come over here and try, I'm going to go back to the ghost.
I stepped away from Calvin, grabbed my torch, then went to get rid of the spirit. Maybe Shark would be calmer for this.

I kept jabbing as Shark and Maxwell switched places. This wasn't the time for me to get distracted, not when we're fighting for our lives like this.

I nodded and switched places with him. I could just barely remember how to do it, I put two of my fingers on a certain place on his neck, and I felt a pulse, it was low but thats normal if someones asleep.
He has a pulse, so I think he's okay! I might have to watch him though, a ghost might get him!

I heard Shark call that Calvin was okay.
"Well, that's good. But now, we need to find a way to drive off this ghost. We can't fight it forever."

I started thinking hard, I had to think quickly, because if we cant get rid of the ghost, then we're screwed! Then an idea popped into my head, it always worked int he movies. I took two sticks and a vine and i put it all together to make a cross, then I put it on fire and swing it around in front of the ghost and the ghost seems to be getting weaker.

I stared as shark swung the fiery cross around.
"Where'd you get THAT idea from?"

I remembered Calvin's words that even if we had torches, we would still be in danger.

I brought out my Houndoom. It was ready to attack the ghost.
Houndoom, don't! Use flamethrower on the fire behind you! Make the flames as big as you can! Everyone, keep attacking while he does that!
Houndoom let out a huge flame from his mouth, intensifying the fire. Calvin said Pokemon flam won't work, but what if they were combined with real fire?

With one hand still jabbing at the ghost with my torch, i reached down with my other.
"Charmander! Help houndoom!"
I release my charmander, and it begins helping Houndoom enlarge the fire.

Hmmm... so fire can ward away ghosts... what if we made some kind of torch circle out of branches from the ground?
Then I remember her saying something about hell.

Then I see his Houndoom intensify the fire and the fire almost hits me. Then I see Charmander.

I take out a pokeball and call out a Pichu

"Maybe...wait, I got it! leave the ghost to me, and start arranging branches in a circle around this area, then have ur pichu use its lightning to light them on fire!"

I start gathering good sised branches and twigs and put them in a circle around the "safe zone".
Alright Pichu, time to shine with Thunderbolt!
Pichu obeys and bolts scatter and hit all the branches at the same time and the forest seemed to light a a little more as the orches where lit.
Great job! Return!
Pichu demoterializes and goes inside the pokeball.The ghost is warded away, but it was still there waiting for an opprotunity.

I quickly noticed the electrical fire go out. That may have been what Calvin meant by real fire. Real fire won't burn out so easily.

"We'll tell you the little bit we know, Shark. Apparently, this place is some sort of limbo, or hell. People appear here, and normally die, because they walk into the mist. They're killed by either this little girl ghost, Lucy-or as she calls herself, legion- or her minions. Maxwell can describe her to you, seeing as she almost killed him when he walked into the mist against Calvin's warning."

I wanted to cry. I screwed us all. But I didn't hesitate, I pulled out some flint from my bag, and grabged some sticks that were of decent size. I struck my flint on them, causing them to errupt in flames.

Let me start from the beginning, I can only explain it so much. We're stuck in limbo, or hell, a place that I'm guessing is full of ghosts. These ghosts want us dead. Yes, we are alive. Calvin's niece is this girl named Lucy, who is the cause of all this. We can assume she's dead. So far, we are trying to figure a way to safely travel through the mist, and find the keys to a carnival where Calvin thinks the way to stop this is. Our only weapon is real fire, it repels ghosts, poke fire is useless, and a mix of the two wont stop Lucy. Problem is, we can't make fire in the mist, and once the torches go out, we're dead. That's the basic rundown.
I wasn't sure if he understood all that, I didn't want him to think I'm crazy.

Not really, we can do this, if Calvin helps us. He said others came before, but didn't take the time to listen to his warning. There are also maps of the town hidden in there, so we can use that as a reference. Calvin can give us the info, but he tends to either fall asleep, or start to randomly song this eerie song.
I smiled to reassure the poor guy.

And then it hit me, I was completely out of energy, and my Pokemon as well. I called out Houndoom, Spiritomb, and Hydreigon. I proceeded to grabbed their Pokemon food, and poured them each a pile to eat.
I'm sorry guys, almost forgot you haven't eaten in a while.
They seemed a little happier, and I felt better to look at their faces. After all that, I needed something normal. I reached in my bag and found my granola, and began eating that as well.

Well, I was going through the Ilex forest. I was on a quest to see if any dark Pokemon migrated there. Well, I turned down a way I did only once before, but then I passed out for some reason. I woke up here, hearing the old man singing.

I thought it was all a dream... i went here to prove it was but... it turns out me and that old man are the only survivors. I have no idea why i lost my memories or why Lucy helped me... mabye its because she knew me, and was hesitant.

Like a drunken police officer, Joson stumbled onto the scene - Hoothoot on his shoulder.
He had heard that an old man in town had information about some sort of Carnival which could be the source of all of the nonsense that Joson is now a part of.
He turned the corner, to spot the old man's camp.
Running towards, he heard people talking.

Joson stopped dead.
He had 2 choices - ignore the conversation and keep searching for the old man, or stopping to ask the socialites for directions.
Gathering up all of his courage - he interrupted the conversation.

"Hey is that an old man?" he started, before realising how stupid his question was.

Despite the interruption, Joson still sought out to relieve this man's nerves regarding the nature of his mortality.

Realising the trivial nature of what he just said, Joson elaborated "S-See, there are these time fluctuations here and umm... Hoot at my Lookloo - no that's stupid... Look at my Hoothoot."
He thrust his Hoothoot at the party - demonstrating the obvious fluctuations in time.
To the untrained eye, it would look perfectly normal - but Joson suspected otherwise.
"So. If there time slows down say, and our atoms still vibrate pace the same at, we could suffer heat death any sec-min... non-relative moment now and--"
Joson stopped. This was way off on such a tangent, and pretty much off the deep end of crazy in every way possible.
"I'm Jason by the way, a trainer from Lavender?", Joson explained, his nerves forcing his statement into a question.
"Regarding the o-old m-man, we could try giving him.. n-nightmares?" he said, drawing his least favourite Pokeball.

Realising he was still holding his Pokeball, Joson was faced with a difficult decision.
Relieve his arm, and concede his demonstration - or actually let his Haunter out, which could be pretty embarrassing.
"Well uh. Haunt my meeter!" he said, deciding to just go with it.
He closed his eyes, dropping his Pokeball.
As Haunter was let out, Joson opened his eyes to get licked in the face.
"K-kinda g-gross. Umm."
Joson was having a lot of trouble following the conversation - every time he opened his mouth he was losing touch more and more.
"Oh umm... supplies?! I-I have some food here - just raw noodle snacks though, do you kettle a have?" he stammered.
Haunter goofed around, taunting Joson - as always.

So I finally get to see the town.
I couldn't believe it, it looked like a normal town, but I could feel the despair and anger. It was so strong.

I was shaking, but I quickly calmed myself, and nodded. I ripped some sloth from my shirt, ignited it with the torch, and tossed it on a nearby bush. The area where it landed dried, and soon, the bush was on fire.
I think that will buy us some time while we get that key.

Joson was confused - there was commotion about keys, gasoline - and then Maxwell started setting fire to things.
The most notable conversation piece was simply that there was reference to an entity that max simply called "she". A mark of notoriety.
"Is there a-anything I can help with?" he asked, his nerves starting to come back. Neither party responded - it seemed Calvin and Max were in their own conversation.
He gazed to the house in front of them, with the way the old man was describing it, its ominous nature multiplied tenfold.

It took me a while to figure out that the ghost was not the only one throwing furniture. That guys Haunter had an evil grin, dong the same.

"Haunter, if you don't c-co-operate, you will get a taste of Mankey's P-Punishment."
Haunter immediately stopped and spun to face Mankey - the furniture he was moving dropped to the floor.
Afraid, Haunter agreed to co-operate, and used his energy to try and slow, if not completely stop, the rest of the furniture from moving.

Calvin, do you know any way we can harm ghosts, in case the situation gets out of hand for all of us. You want us to go against 41 ghosts, then go after Lucy. There has to be something, and knowing you, you may have tried something.

I know you said you don't want them destroyed, but they will try to kill us, and if we don't have any weapon to ensure our safety, we might as well be dead once inside. Fire can only do so much, it can't repel flying objects.
