Our dear lovely Misty. I sincerely hope she returns for generation 5, though the chances are slim, I must remain positive. Brock has been around for every region except the Orange Archipelago (he was with prof. Ivy). Poke-sketcher(?) Tracy took his spot. Why can't Brock take a break once in a while and let Misty come back? Then we can let the new character be a boy instead of a girl. Yeah, Misty made a few cameos here and there last generation, but that's not enough. :(
Do you guys want Misty to return? Why or why not?
Think we'll see her again? (Not just in small appearances)

I didn't really like Misty, she was too loud and obnoxious. As well she has a secret crush on Ash but she never told him... except when she said him and her were gonna get married one day. Yes she actually said that. So in the end she will eventually come back.

In the beginning she was really annoying, but she's matured. If you watch her in the cameo appearances she made last generation, you'd get a good sample of what I am talking about. She's matured in many ways - especially battling. :)

I'm not quite sure, but I know she said it. I remember watching a Youtube Video of her saying that. It was when Ash, Her and Brock were back together the second time. In the Johto Region I believe.

a marriage system could be good, though i think you would have to look into it more and also if it were implemented i think that there would have to be some benefits

I agree, terrible idea. I'm a May fan, but honestly the character development in the show is pretty much always lacking.

To be honest... think a marrige system would be completly horrible.
Let's not bring in a marriage system please. It was horrible in perfect world, hell it's horrible in most other mmos. Partner quests sound cool though.

well first of all they are not real so IMO it doesnt really matter if people talk about it and he did say it in an episode before. but Misty is my choice.

I'd like the old team to be together again this season, that being brock, misty and ash. Such nostalgia. And change ash's clothing to his first outfit. It wouldn't hurt, only diffirence then would be that there are new pokemon. How do you like that idea guys?

I think I watched one episode with her in it, got tired of her, and turned off the TV.

I'd prefer a new girl, rather than an old one. May was ok, but I don't like Dawn that much. (Too whiny.) Still, Misty I liked the least. Mostly because she was doing almost nothing but constantly nagging and yelling at everyone else. She got better later on, but my first impressions still lingered.
She's definitely grown older in HGSS. -Coughs.-Hercharactersprite.-Coughs.- So, an older Misty I wouldn't mind so much.

I also think that in the new generation they might pull a twist considering that it might be the last one. So we might see a little bit of misty more often.

um really lol everyone thinks the "next" generation will be the last haha, i mean look at diamond and pearl, people thought that would be last because of the huge amount of legendaries and so called "god" pokemon. In all honesty the games should keep going on i mean just basing the amount of pokemon that are in existence compared to the amount of real animals they should keep going ^ ^ i think i would be happy with 1000 different pokemon, though most would think that is overkill

Even though, somebody already said it. That would be FAR TOO OVERKILL! >.> I think 500 is overkill enough. Though it does give us some options.

I hope Misty won't come back, after all, she's been here for 2 generations, while the other two only had one. I wish to see a group of four in next gen. eqal boys and girls, it really bugged me, that there where 3 guys and 1 girl in Advanced! I would like a May comeback, and mature Dawn with her wouldn't be bad, allso they seriously have to dump Brock!! :P

I agree with you Amphy. It would be cool to have that many Pokemon, because there would be so much variety if you played in tournaments and such, rather than so many Tyranitars, Dragonites, Salemences, etc. Also, it would give you a lot of choices if you want a certain type but aren't happy with what is available. What also bugs me is why they haven't bothered to make a fire-dragon type. Isn't that like, the most obvious type combination ever!? Oh well, they probably won't make that many because nobody wants them to.

Very odd indeed ..but it could turn out to be a very creative team thats owns. Assuming ..yur Bug\Fire types also have another type like charzard being a fire\flying type.

As for Misty I grew up with Misty as the main female character. As much as she can be annoying sometimes I still would like to see her.

not sure if misty will come back because in the pika vs goliath episode it had a flashback of when pikachu battled lt.surge, im sure ash and brock were there but misty was nowhere to be seen.
would be good if she dd come back though, even just for an episode or two

i no longer watch the anime, its boring, only times i ever watch is when theres a good fight like orange league champion ship and charizard vs blaziken, etc etc, also movies are somewhat better

Eh well, I read somewhere (think it was Bulbapedia) that an animator confirmed that Misty will never return as a main character, but hopes to feature her is select episodes from time to time, kind of like they've done with her recently.
I also read that the first few episodes of Gen 5 have been created, and both Dawn AND Brock will be left behind. Team Rocket is still there though, from the looks of the concept sketches.
So yeah, no more Misty. Seeing as it's been that way for a while now, I don't see it changing. As for May and Dawn, they're okay. Never really got attached to them like Misty (I've always been a sucker for the "starting group", for lack of a better phrase), but they haven't been horrible or anything. I'll gladly put up with the next female lead that comes along.
Brock leaving upsets me a bit though. He's been there for so long, it'll be weird without him. Then again, I'm looking forward to a completely brand new cast, all built up from just Ash and Pikachu.
