General Chat / Re: Hmmm...A Pokemon Guild, Huh?
« on: October 21, 2010, 09:18:25 PM »
i personally think guilds add to the excitement of mmos i'd let any1 join anyone who plays a lot wining and losing don't matter that much i don't think. if a guild im in has a weak person who is trying very hard to be stronger then i'd just find away to help them out. guilds are also good for noobs cuz eryones always treatin noobs so bad as if they were never a noob....... so if a noob can just hop straight into a guild any 1 of thier guild members should help that noob out. idk guilds are supposed to look out for its members thats what i think. And everyone in the guild doesn't have to be uber, there are certain members for that, maybe ur just the guild comedian or something. every one should have a place in some guild...even if its not an official guild other than that whats the point in plying a mmo just go play some 1 player playstaion game.

I plan on using rain dance. I'm sure Trainerx and Angiecakes with use sunny day. And so forth and so on.
I'm not really a fan of the weather moves and defensive moves, but I'll teach sunny day to Camerupt. I think he'll be the first pokemon I send out, and teaching him Sunny Day would work with that.
yeah im with u except occasionally i use rain dance to boost a petal dance or giga drain

Can't say I'm too surprised. Most people prefer to do things they enjoy.

Oh, and as a general statement. Our teams don't have to be exclusively one type. Just mostly one type. Sometimes there are pokemon that we just absolutely love, but aren't part of a certain type, but we want to use anyway. For me, there are pokemon like Electrode and Toxicroak that aren't part water, but do well in rain dance team.

Stikman messaged DD asking if he could use Infernape, even though he's doing electric types. I think that's fine. always exceptions to a rule.

i've got a rough draft on the electric team. It goes like this:

Electivire
Raichu (has to have started from a Pichu)
Lanturn
Houndoom (it has Thunder Fang and really good support moves)
Infernape
Blissey

Let me know if you have a good suggestion and why it's a good one, mainly because i don't know everything. Don't want to make a stupid choice, after all
hmmm... will pichu learn volt tackle in this game? cuz i can't find out when he learns it except being born with it?

I'm definitely going for rain dance with the elec team, for one really cool reason that i found out playing platinum... heh heh heh....
Thunder has 100% accuracy.
thunder
PP      10 (max. 16)
Power     120
Accuracy     70%

With Rain Dance it has a 100% accuracy. :P
::)

Actually the shoddy battle will require effort i do not want to give to this cause because everyone here knows a nidoking would be beat by a flygon except for you so im leavin it at that.
Ok Viper i don't 100% understand shoddy but me and my freind did it yestardy and yeah nidoking was one hit ko'd so ur right but nidoking is still alot more useful against others i think so i still pick him over flygon anyday. Jerry i checked the stadium stats for the speacial mewtwo and all the rest of the pokemon on Stadium and basically all of them are very low so u were right on that.

maybe it was a weak mewtwo but why would they make u have to do all that stuff just to unlock a 6 vs 1 fight on a weak mewtwo? i just think i had a strong nidoking and a fast persian

Heh, the Mewtwo you battled was certainly underpowered.
the one from pokemon stadium....all it takes is my nidoking to get hit by psychic then use earthquake then throw out my persian and slash then the mewtwo is destroyed
yes please do the shoddy battle make sure nidoking gets ice beam  and deck him for me :)

328 Atk vs 190 Def & 303 HP (100 Base Power): 372 - 440 (122.77% - 145.21%)

It's a guaranteed OHKO, even if Flygon hits the bottom portion of the RNG and deals as little damage as possible.
nidoking dont have 190 def?....and i don't even see how u added in def in any of this any way i won't beleive it till i see it and i've seen him survive stronger attacks frome stronger opponents but i haven seen flygon vs nidoking even on youtube so... its very hard for me to believe cuz i've had both lvl100 and nidoking is way more reliable than flygon he always ko's any1 he is up against

I always evolve my pokemon of course! Then I get more money when I sell them to the meat processing factory! Especially if they have the ability thick fat!
grrr....
