I've got a couple things to say, but not as much as spirit said.
1st quest - It's kinda like what you had to do in RSE, just earlier in the game.


2nd quest - It's like what you had to do in DPP for the newspaper guy, but since you said

(2)Branch quest, requires completion of starter quest.

Upon completing the starter quest, the option to assist the professor's aid becomes
available. To start the quest, speak to [designated aid] and he will ask you to go catch
random pokemon 1, or random pokemon 1 and 2, as new trainers are in need of pokemon,
but the lab is currently lacking. This quest can be completed daily, hence the first daily
quest idea for the game. You would have to go to the designated area of the pokemon,or
search the lands for them if you do not know the location, making this quest more
of an adventure. Upon completing this quest you recieve [designated reward] (I have not
thought of a reward). This quest can be completed daily, and increases in difficulty with
your player level.

since you said that, its just slightly more challenging


3rd quest- This quest is just a "Find the guy, get the item the guy wants from another guy" thing


4th quest - it was a rather long quest, but i liked it.

Hold on.... Gotta read it again :(

Um.... Hm..... Oh! duh!

4th quest - after you complete it, the restaurant owner says "i think the people can rest easy during this period " or something like that, but only for a period, so, once they start fighting again, (after about a month or so, {a month to us is a year to the game,}) you should be allowed to talk to the restaurant owner and he'll say "oh! those feuding gangs!!! they're at it again!!!" and you can do the quest again, but the pokemon will be several levels higher, and you need to search in new areas for the HQ's of the gangs.

thanks for pointing that out, jerry.

but, you know how in some games, (i'm aiming this at the PU team,) as you progress through the game, and you battle a person, then later, after you're even more progressed, and you have a rematch against that same person, and their pokemon are even higher than before?

would there be any possibility that this would be implemented into the game?

"didn't i read somewhere that you won't be able to catch legends?"

so yeah, i didn't realize that i HAD read about NOT being able to catch legends until i went to watch the Olympics.

i liked it.

you could have the charmander run from you, making this quest just slightly more challenging,

(i know you said you didn't want to make a quest thats too hard, but still, it's a little too easy,)

and after you complete the quest, you can go back on fridays and find a huge, i wanna say 'pack', of charmander, and you can catch the one you saved.

IF THEGREAT#1 hadn't crushed your idea by saying that there won't be a true ending to the game, it would be nice if you were able to catch the legendary.

but to catch the legendary, you would need to get it VERY tired, because IF you took jerry's idea and made the legendary go on a rampage, it would be very hard to catch

It all seemed to flow somewhat and i saw where you where going with everything, but how exactly are the water pokemon going to fight off the sharpedos ?

it's simple. bring along a Poliwrath with fighting-type moves.

I like it. But i think you should have the two seviper be owned by the man in the office, and have him say something like,

"I'm sorry. i've been having problems in my life lately, and i thought you were someone who was going to make it even more miserable. Anyway, i'm terribly sorry."

then have him explain what his problem is. then a choice box pops up and says,

Help the poor guy out!
Let the guy solve his own problems!

and then, if you say help him, he'll say,

"What's that? you want to help me?"

and if you say no, he'll say,

"Huh? You have something you need to take care of? well, I'll let you do that."

And if you do say don't help, you have the option of coming back and saying that you'll help him.

But all in all, i liked it.

StephenKill2, i get where ur coming from, wanting realism in the game, especially since this will be a MMORPG.

but having to run around everywhere to catch a caterpie as if it was latios or latias in pokemon emerald?

we would just lose players due to stress of trying to catch their favorite pokemon.

see where im coming from?

I like the idea,but i agree with SnowWolfAlpha. it should work with HM's, not TM's.

But, if you need the HM to get to the next gym, then the wild pokemon and the trainers pokemon need to be at your pokemons level, or slightly above.

Another great idea that just popped into my mind, in certain areas in other games that i've played, the enemies leveled up with you. So say, if you were lvl 7 one day, they were lvl 7, and three days later, if you were lvl 9, they were lvl 9. we should try and put that in this game, too.

but it was a good start. the reason why we have these kind of things is so we can start with a primative idea, and add and change it so it works for everyone else.

When i choose my team, i have conflict. Basically, each pokemon has another ones back. Like if i started with a water, heres how it would work:

water type --> electric type --> ground type --> grass type --> flying type --> rock type

and basically, each pokemon, yeah. i already said that.
