News & Announcements / Pokémon Universe Soundtrack Album
« on: July 20, 2015, 07:30:34 PM »
Pokémon Universe Original Soundtrack!

Given the current state of things, I figured I'd release an album with most of the music I've composed for the game during the last years.

Yes 30 tracks of pokeyman goodness. Something to come out of this whole ordeal.

You can download it for free at: http://hiteryan.bandcamp.com/

If you've got a Last.fm account, the album is scrobbleable as well!

News & Announcements / Pokémon Nostalgia

Hitey here, your favorite or not so favorite music composer for your wonderful upcoming Pokémon MMO!

As some of you may know, I also do other things besides making music. One of them is making short films. So I shot this one about a year ago, but only recently came to upload it, don't ask me why. It's about Pokémon nostalgia pretty much. I WANT YOU TO CRY RIVERS OF MANLY TEARS.

Watch it here:

I know it's kinda lame to upfront ask to leave comments but I'd really appreciate if you could leave some comments and like the video, and also share all over teh interwebs. Would really help me out spreading my creations. Deep down I am an aspiring crappy filmmaker (I shot this with a cheap $150 camera, not a DSLR, so don't judge me on this one).

Thank you guys :)

Games / Swedish Pokémon Game Translations
« on: April 13, 2013, 02:28:02 AM »
Does anyone know of any swedish translated main series Pokémon games for the GBA? (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen)?
I'm learning Swedish right now and this woule be a fun help. However the games were released in English in the nordic regions, so I'm seeking unofficial translation patches/roms. Any help on this?

Other Games / Your Game Collections

Show them off!

Here's a big chunk of my modest collection. It's missing a couple PS2 games, half of my PS1 games, and my gameboy games (Pokémon etc)

Well this is a fun read, and surely there are much more of these scattered around the internets.

Other Games / Portal 2 co-op
« on: November 06, 2011, 03:58:39 AM »
Anyone up for Portal 2 co-op? (Through Steam).

I've finished the solo campaign and I'm slowly going through it again. I'd much like to play with someone who's never played the co-op campaign, preferably someone with a microphone so it will be easier to discuss about the economy and boobs.

Other Entertainment / Metal/Hardcore/Death/Etc
« on: September 27, 2011, 01:09:05 PM »
There probably is a topic about Metal around here somewhere, hell probably I created it, but if there is, which I really am not sure, it must be buried deep. So after lurking on the Dubstep thread, I'm creating this one. I wanted to make a topic though regarding what is mostly somewhat underground metal, mostly being quite alternative or technical.

If any, what kind of stuff do you enjoy? These are a few of my favorites.

Born of Osiris

Sikth (Disbanded some years ago. Sickest breakdown ever conceived @ 03:25)

Animals as Leaders

Between The Buried And Me

Scar Symmetry (I'm not really much into this band, I just love this song)

And I'll make a thread regarding my own band when we finish recording a tiny small sample, hopefully somewhere in the next 10 days lol. For now there's this old video (it's almost an year old) os us playing an unfinished song, we weren't even sure of what we were playing. I'm the one on guitar. But this is old and suck. Brace for the upcoming technicality and awesomeness.

General Chat / The Missingno Tracks - Cover Album
« on: August 31, 2011, 10:22:15 PM »
Just thought I'd put this here. Several members at OCRemix.org assembled a fan album with covers of Pokémon music from the Gen 1, 2 and 3 games. 1h40 of mostly decent music, so check it out.

(Before anyone asks, I was not in any way involved with this project and didn't make any songs for it). Although it's sad I didn't know about this project, otherwise I'd certainly work on something for it.

News & Announcements / Help a Dev! Get PU freebies!
« on: May 29, 2011, 01:18:20 PM »

Hello. As you know I am the music composer for this wonderful game. Last year, I have released about half a dozen pieces of music so far on my YouTube account.

I am planning to release more, if all you guys are willing to help me out!

I am participating on one of those crappy contests they put up here for everyone for all categories such as video, music, etc. I'm participating with a video of mine, and the final winner by the end of July is decided partially by the number of votes the video gets, and partially by a pro juri's decision.

So what do I want you to do?

If you have a Facebook account (AND ONLY IF YOU DO. Please DO NOT make a Facebook account with the sole purpose of voting for this video, unless you are planning to make that account your own and actively use it. Otherwise people might suspect there's some kind of cheating going on to get votes), go to this link:

Then watch the video if you'd like (and then you can even compare with the other videos up for contest. Only about 3 videos are decent, the rest is utter crap, seriously, just my opinion but you go judge by yourselves).

To vote, you have to login with your facebook account, then click on the vote button. As such.

If the vote is successful, a message will pop up saying "Voto contabilizado com sucesso." If not, please reply to this topic with any questions.

This works on a daily vote basis so I ask you, if possible, vote EVERY DAY!

You can vote once a day. Please share with your friends. This isn't just a matter of winning. You see, I am a student of engineering. My most beloved thing though is movie making, as well as music composing. If I succeed at this, it will be major proof that I truly should follow this area, as well as it will allow me to gain more resources to continue my movie making quest as well as my musical endeavors, allowing me to make more awesome music too for your games and your general listening.

I am aiming to reach a medium, very hopefully, of 50 votes a day at least, counting with some other people I myself manage to get voting too.

In exchange for this, I will be posting, on my YouTube, one piece of music from Pokémon Universe EACH WEEK. Starting next Saturday. GO NOW!
