4. What do you do on your free time besides spending time on PU? Swimming, friends, developing. Also working on get-rich(-all-the-better-if-quick) schemes.
5. What are your goals/dreams in life? I'm happy with being happy. I want to travel the world and generally have a blast.
6. What got you involved in PU? Mind control is a possibility. Supposedly it was because I was interested in it even though I'm not much of a gamer.
7. What makes you different from the rest of the PU team? I'm me.
8. Who do you admire? Why? A girl I know.
9. Are you into sports?  If so which ones? Swimming and to an extent soccer/footbal and (American) football.
10. What is your dream job? Something that I like doing. Now to find out that something.

20. Which languages do you speak? Somali, English, some French, understand a little Swahili and can read/write Arabic.

25. How do you sleep? By lying down in my bed and waiting.

29. How do you dress? By putting on my clothes. Usually some shirt and jeans or whatever or pants/shorts I have. Except in winter, then you gotta pull out the ol' long johns.
30. How many keys are on your keyring? Front door, back door, old back door, room. So 4.
31. What time do you go to bed?  What time do you wake up? Physically go to bed like 10-11 pm but fall asleep around 12-2 am. Walk up around 7-9 am  Summer schedule is a bit extreme: fall asleep at 5 am and wake up 12-2 pm.
32. What's the freakiest thing you have done? No clue. Take that as you will.
33. Do you live alone? No.
34. How many hours a day do you spend in the computer? A lot simply.
35. How many hours a day do you spend in PU? In IRC? A lot. Working on PU stuff? When I have the motivation, the hours fly by.
36. What is your favorite beverage - coffee, tea, soda, beer, other? Milk.
37. What do you hate? Not much. If one thing, forcing your opinion onto others. (Though I'm guilty of that sometimes)

Pokemon Universe is not an emulator. An emulator is a program which can function as a different system. For example VisualBoyAdvance is basically a GameBoy Advance on your computer. This is why it can run GBA games without modification (most of the time). PU is a completely new game built by the PU team, not Nintendo.

The complex thing about Pokemon is the many factors that affect them. These include levels of effectiveness/weakness, natures, IVs, EVs, base stats, items, equips etc
I can only iterate the same concern in the massive undertaking this is but again as said above it is worthwhile as it makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable.
Also, regarding making an algorithm as shindle mentioned: it would also be somewhat of an undertaking to correctly implement the necessary parts which make up these complex creatures we so fondly call pokemon.
