As the music composer for PU I say that good dubstep sure is alright.

General Chat / Re: whats your favorite pokemon region
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:37:11 PM »
How the hell haven't I replied to this topic.

I suppose this goes strictly for the region itself, so I'd have to pick between Johto and Hoenn. Hoenn was great, since the improved graphics over the previous games' 8-bit allowed the creation of the desert and snowy areas. However I'll pick Johto. Silver was my first game, so it might be a bit biased but then again what opinions here wouldn't be biased in such a way? I wouldn't consider them biased.

I liked Johto compared to Kanto because of the rural feeling it had to it. There's just grass and trees everywhere. Even in towns. Kanto is pretty much an urban region. It also introduced night/day, which was really more immersive, and the music on it helped it, it was more complex than the music in Kanto, and felt more adventurous.

Johto it is.

That doesn't seem to be Morgan Freeman on the poster so I'll just lock this topic.

General Chat / The Missingno Tracks - Cover Album
« on: August 31, 2011, 10:22:15 PM »
Just thought I'd put this here. Several members at OCRemix.org assembled a fan album with covers of Pokémon music from the Gen 1, 2 and 3 games. 1h40 of mostly decent music, so check it out.

(Before anyone asks, I was not in any way involved with this project and didn't make any songs for it). Although it's sad I didn't know about this project, otherwise I'd certainly work on something for it.

Final Fantasy 3(for the third time)

Do you mean the american FF6? Because if so, you are the man.

As for me, currently on:

Final Fantasy IV Collection (PSP)
Dante's Inferno (PSP)
Resident Evil 4 (PS2)
Portal 2 (PC)

And as I've said on another post... "building a new pc this month so I can catch up on what games I've been missing out since 2007 and play some Wii games on Dolphin since the most recent consoles I own are a PS2 and a PSP and I'm poor as hell."

That's why I can't play any recent games. Yes I have an integrated graphics chip and I can play Croc 2 on MAX SETTINGS YEAUAEHHH!

Man just wanna get my hands on that Wii U.

In the meanwhile I'm building a new pc this month so I can catch up on what games I've been missing out since 2007 and play some Wii games on Dolphin since the most recent consoles I own are a PS2 and a PSP and I'm poor as hell.

To me it sounds like a Forest or a Plantation field map, but that might be because Dofus had a similar one and I'm used to it.

 Here's the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LWKW9k1q1A&feature=BFa&list=PLC8152B4FDBA461F3&index=6

I guess it could be one of the starting towns though, but I can't imagine this in a city similar to Goldenrod etc.
                                               Cheers, Genbor

Yes, much probably for one of the starting towns. You got that right. I got different stuff planned for urban cities planned :3

And thanks for showing me this soundrack, this sounds pretty cool.

Hey guys.

Election day here in Portugal and I've been very busy and haven't even had time to go on the internet. So sorry for the delay. Sucks I haven't got a fraction of the support I was hoping to get, and I know you guys have been voting/trying to. I'm just disappointed with everyone else I know in person. Well, it's alright. Just please keep voting if you wish to, if the other videos suck too hard I might still have a chance and I'm getting pretty cool comments on this.

Anyway, as I promised indeed, I will upload some music from PU. The following piece of music is one of the provisory town themes. A very lazy and simple piece really, but it's just to get started. Since I'm not getting much support, I feel lazy so I probably won't follow my video posting schedule as promised.

Please revert your comments on the music to that topic!

Perhaps there's some thing going on with the countries you live in or something. I doubt that's it, but some people have been going through the same. Do you guys live in Europe? It appears to be happening with people outside Europe though I have no idea if that could be the reason and would be a little awkward I guess.
