what "the pidgey post" is.. is it just like the Pony Express?

In a way, it is (though the Rapidash Courier Service is the actual pokemon equivalent to the Pony Express). The Pidgey Post is a mailing service that uses bird pokemon to fly letters and packages from town to town, basically.

Voltaire:

No, not the philosopher. Aurelio Voltaire Hernandez is a musician who writes and plays his own songs. He's generally placed in the Dark Wave/gothic rock genres, but I feel his songs are too varied to be constrained to one genre; he almost literally has something for everyone, from the outright silly (The Beast of Pirate's Bay, Brains!, Day of the Dead) to the disturbingly morbid (The Chosen, Ex-Lover's Lover) to the tender and sweet (Goodnight Demon Slayer, Hallo Elskan Min) to the hilariously perverted (Zombie Prostitute, Cantina, Cathouse Tragedy) to even songs regarding current events and societal issues (Innocent, Crusade, The Accordian Player).

Within Temptation:

A symphonic rock band from the Netherlands, Within Temptation is another group of musicians with a lot of variety for a bunch of different people. One of their earlier albums, The Silent Force, has a slight gothic undertone to it, while their most recent album, The Unforgiving, has a more fast-paced rock beat. They even had a live concert called Black Symphony that was performed with a full orchestra and choir!

Every time I try to log in using the username/password fields located where the user info usually is, I get taken to another page saying I put in the incorrect password. However, when I put the same exact password in, I get logged on no problem. Is it just me who's experiencing this, or is it happening for anyone else?

I haven't tried the username/password fields in the upper right corner yet to see if I get the same problem, but I will in a few minutes.

[edit]Ok, I just tried the fields in the upper right corner, and I got in no problem. Either I have somehow been messing up my username/password almost every single time these past five days without realizing it, or there is something wrong with the lower set of fields.  :-\

i know how to search but i dont know what to search and ive read that and it doesn't tell you it just says the real evil not the stupid always losing team rockets people.

It's most likely the development team doesn't want to reveal who the bad guys before the game comes out. That would be a rather huge spoiler, don't you think?

Just have some patience. Once the ball starts rolling, everything will be revealed in time.

The amount of hate on Gen 5 pokés leaves my perplexed.

You're not the only one, John.  ???

I actually found a rather interesting comic that explores what general reactions would be if Gen 1 and Gen 5 were switched.

is this guild dead? o.o

I hope not. Let's put some more activity onto this thread, shall we? :)

I'm curious as to your opinion about the guild's logo/mascot/base.

*points down at own signature* Old Chateau for the win. It's close enough to Eterna City that I can get human contact whenever I want, but it's nestled enough into the forest and got enough rumors about it that I don't have to worry about unwanted visitors too often. :)

Well he's making some bad one's now i mean he's made some brilliant ones but he's running out of ideas i mean one of the new ones recently was a floating ice cream pokemon used to be based of animals and aliens, legendaries were acceptable to look odd but inanimate objects or certain foods is just desperate.

Personally, I don't really see how that could be "desperate" when there were Pokemon based on inanimate objects in Gen 1. ???

Games / Re: Shiny Pokemon
« on: November 28, 2011, 10:34:22 am »
I've seen four shinies in my games, a Doduo and Spearow in Leaf Green and a Machoke and Sudowoodo in Pearl. When I found the Doduo, I had no idea about shinies, so I simply defeated it. I caught the Spearow later (though only to find what exactly was up with it). I ended up saving over that game, though, so I lost it.

Since then I had learned more about shinies, so when I found Machoke in Stark Mountain, I actually attempted to catch it. That game...ended up getting saved over as well.  :-\

Sudowoodo was on Route 214 and is on my current save file, but I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I mean, it's useful for filling out the Pokedex and it looks neat, but I haven't really had a reason to actually use it yet. I think I might trade it over to another game before starting another game on Pearl because, well, it's a shiny, but then again, I might not.

So about the Guild Hall. Please give your opinions of where and what it should be. In the end if our talented Pixel artist would care to help us out, we can create it. But only if he wants to.

Hmm...going with my explanation of the guild to Burning Roses, perhaps we can have it somewhat similar to the secret bases in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald? I, for one, think it would be pretty neat if our hall was a giant treehouse, or maybe even a group of buildings in a grove of trees with connecting catwalks like Fortree City. :D

Wait...this coming from a person who's afraid of heights.... ???

There was one time when we were going out to eat at a Chile's restaurant that was located in a small mall. The restaurant has a glass door leading into the rest of the mall, and it didn't have its own restroom, so you had to go out of the restaurant to the nearest restrooms (which were only about ten, fifteen feet away, so it wasn't too bad).

Anyways, while I was walking back from the restroom, I saw a family that was waiting in the seating area outside of the restaurant for their turn to be taken to a table, and one of the kids was playing a gameboy. I started trying to peek over his shoulder to see what he was playing--while still moving.

I ended up walking right into the glass door. In full view of a large group of people that were about to be taken to their seats.

I'm gonna be going with Turtwig.

im new and i was wondering what Fruit punch guild does

From what I understand, Fruit's Punch is meant to be like a second family/casual club (You ever have a tree house or club house that you would play in all summer with your friends? Like that.).

I think, I could be wrong.  :-\
