i get that the first guy through will blab but i still like the idea of the door locking until you either lose or win. I think it would add a degree of difficultly to the gyms if you can't just run out and heal at a pokemon center.

also i was a post about the gym leaders having a bank of pokemon, i think these two ideas together could make the gym battles more challenging, especially if you have to go through the jr trainers without being able to run to a pokecenter.

I was looking and i don't think anyone posted this idea yet.
I saw a post about keeping the gym types a secrete, and thought that what if the doors locked behind you kinda like the elite 4 battles. this way you can't battle one jr. trainer then back out and adjust your team. You would have to be ready for anything, if you lost you would still blackout or what ever the pu team decides to do (losing would reflect poorly on the trainer i'm assuming)
idk if it's a good idea or not but i think it could add a bit of a challenge for players upon entering a gym.
and yes i know it's hard to keep the gym types a complete secrete but I myself will try to avoid knowing the types to up the challenge

i was thinking that in pvp battles that are not tourneys, why not let the players decide on the rules.
ex: let them pick if it's 3v3 or 6v6 or a double battle or not.
in the case of a disagreement make a 60 sec or so timer and if no agreement can be made before it expires random rules are selected.
also you can't do a 6v6 if one trainer does not have a full team.

Charizard- it's cheesy i know but he's my favorite
Crobat- cause patience breeds rewards. i mean zubat is terrible but crobat is one of the fastest in the game
Luxray- prolly my favorite electric pokemon ever created
Swampert- Water and ground, fantastic!
Gallade- the combo of fighting and psychic is just so interesting
Garchomp- cause he's the most awesome dragon in the game
also i'll prolly have a donphan (rapid spin is always useful), snorlax (come on hes a massive wall and rest with sleep talk is awesome), scizor (bug and steel nice got the benefits of bug with only one weakness to fire), and glaceon (i love the eevee evolutions and ice pokemon are always handy) in my box ready to go when needed
(the only pokemon i'll def always have on me are charizard and crobat.

there are a bunch of pokemon i don't like
diglet and dugtrio (did they super glue themselves togeather?)
meowth (just looks plain dumb)
magnemite, magneton (it's an object not a living thing, all steel pokemon are chansey dumb as are rock, and also it has the same problem as diglet)
scisor (it ruined one of my favorite pokemon syther is so chansey badass and scisor is a dumb evo that should never exist)
Dragonite (probably the worst dragon ever designed in the history of the world, i mean come on it's a dragon but not gyarados!?)
ludicolo (really? a mexican pokemon... great)
sableeye ( i actually like this pokemon i just hate that it has no evolutions and it's stats aren't really that good)
manectic (it... just... looks... dumb!)
altaria (another stupid looking dragon)
lunatone and solrock (they are chansey rocks)
luvdisc (it's too stupid)
floatzel (i think buizel is pretty cool but it's evo is so lame)
purugle (it's in the name)
magmortar ( i really liked magmar and magby, but why did the evo have to be so dumb looking)
rotom (because well i don't think a fridge should be a pokemon)
also i'm finding the pokemon in the new black and white are kinda all really dumb especially the chansey otter thing...
i don't like a whole lot more pokemon but i'm tired of listing them
(IF DRAGONITE AND ALTARIA ARE DRAGONS THEN GYARADOS AND CHARIZARD SHOULD BE AS WELL!)

yeah i almost always pick charmander then catch a pidgey. I beast through brock with with charmander and then use gyarados to beast misty, then i never really pickup a new pokemon untill eevee (jolteon) and snorlax, just hm slaves.
