For example, his Frost Breath has 180 base Power including STAB - and cuts through defensive boosts no problems. Storm Throw has 120 and is of the best wallbreaking type in the game. Grass Knot annihilates Quagsire and Swampert - while dealing hefty chunks to Golem and other Rock types. Taunt is there for the Pokemon like Weezing who may take more than one hit - and will need to be prevented from healing. You can use Toxic for status spreading if needed. They tend to all carry the same moves - STAB Water move, Toxic to beat other Bulky Waters, Recovery and Support moves, and sometimes Hidden Power Grass/Electric, or Ice Beam. Muk can switch into any Water move to heal, is unaffected by Toxic, and, with its huge Special Defence and Recover, doesn't care about non-STAB Hidden Powers and Ice Beams. So, switch in, and Toxic if you think they'll stay in, Recover if you need health, ThunderPunch if you just want to hurt them, if, if you're feeling particularly devious, predict their switch to a counter, or predict their support move (like Vaporeon's Wish) - and hit them with Focus Punch. This guy can also beat Choices Waters like Azumarill and uncommon Gyarados. Url of Discussion Topic: http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,3245.msg70178.html#msg70178

Hey guys, Shadowfred and I have been designing this game for a few days now, and we're ready to finally put it out there! It's less of a role-playing game, and more of an interactive adventure. The basic idea is, we post a picture and a bit of story, you tell the characters what to do! For example, DAVE: Push computer off desk. If there are multiple commands, we will take the best and most entertaining ones! There will be combat and crafting in this game, so buckle your seat belts and let's go! ------------------ You wake up in a jail cell. The door appears to be tightly locked... The room is filled with cameras, blinking lights, and little beeps. One particular machine appears to be monitoring your heart rate. You're not sure what to do, you don't know what would happen if you even attempted to stand. You figure it would be best to sit, and wait, for something... anything... to give you guidance. JerryEDIT: I'm giving this RP the green light. And RP is open to all, no profile required.

This is a couple of Cune sets mashed together, as Dewgong definitely wants to take advantage of its Ice STAB. Roar and Calm Mind make this set harder to counter. Just watch out for Fighting and Rock moves. Url of Discussion Topic: http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,3108.0.html

And slightly improved! A little more attack makes Fake Outs even harder to take, and as always, Ambipom has the tools to shut down many threats. Low Kick hurts Rocks and Steels. U-Turn will deal a lot of damage, or you can use the improved Knock Off to hurt Choiced pokes, while Taunt shuts down anything that tries to set up. HELP US TEST!!
Okay guys! I've been teasing at this a while now, we are going to be letting 10 PU members to help us test! As you saw recently, the PU team has implemented 34% of the fully evolved Pokemon in the game - this means that testing is becoming quite a handful for us, as the number of permutations is astounding. As we usually try to focus on the Pokemon that we most recently implement - it becomes hard to tell if a team combining Swampert and Dragonite is fun, or a team with Volcarona and Pidgeot is overpowered.
So as stated, we're bringing 10 of you in. You will be expected to battle against members of the team and other testers - but most importantly, report on any balance issues you find. Report a Pokemon if it seems too strong, or too weak. Explore the Pokemon as much as you can - we might have overlooked combos that Liepard can pull off, we want you to find them and make sure they're not overpowered.
Now, here's where I'd say "But most of all! Have fun!" But, really... we need you to be responsible and reliable when reporting balance issues. So, 1. Report Balance issues. 2. HAVE FUN! 3. Kick Shadowfred's butt for me.
And as an extra bonus, If you do your job well, you may be let into the PU Beta when we get close to release!
So how do I apply? Fill out this form:
Name: Age:
Favourite Pokemon: How much competitive battling experience do you have? How much do you know of each Pokemon? Do you know names and types? Cool! But it'd be better if you knew their movepool and competitive sets. How's your maths? Bet you're wishing you passed that last exam.
Why do you think you would be useful when testing the PU metagame? Why do you think we should pick you? What changes do you think should be made to the current metagame? Do you think there are big balance concerns in standard Pokemon? Do you hate Stealth Rock? Tell us here!
Don't let the little quiz scare you. It'll still be a blast.

HE'S USELESS NOW!" but... he's far from it. He still has 110 Base HP with a Steel typing, allowing him to take resisted hits with ease - and he still has a lovely Attack stat and Swords Dance to compliment it. Throw in that he can speed up in weather, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better attacker. Force a switch, Sub up, Swords Dance, and sweep like a beast. Switch into physical hits, soak them up like they're nothing, and proceed to annoy your opponent like there's no tomorrow. Taunt is for obvious reasons - while Knock Off is now useful on this set due to its less dismal power, and it can really help deal with a multitude of Scarfers - like the Dragons.
