Well that was my initial suggestion; having people know that you did something would be worth something. However we were just expanding on the possibility of using achievements to gain some type of exclusive currency that would enable you to get something special  .

By adding secret zones, everybody wants to get achievements and achievements become an important part of the game, which isn't something I think the devs would want. I think something small should be the reward.

Red, he wins with skill whereas half the times Ash wins its sympathy.
Also, Ash should be the best trainer in the world right now, yet he still lost to a kid who just got his first Pokemon :/. He just doesn't mature.
Red on the other hand is a boss and always wins.

I support the marriage idea because its just a fun feature thats nice to have available but I am totally against the marriage benefits idea because it could easily be abused and is just a reward for something that isn't too hard to achieve.

I think this is awesome, but it comes with a lot of complications that are hard to handle. What happens if the Champion goes away? How will new players ever be able to catch up to the Champions? How could you prevent experienced players from battling inexperienced players to gather wins? How do you prevent one person from battling a friend and defeating them a thousand times?
All of the questions might have answers, but I'm just trying to exemplify how its a bit hard to do.
Personally, I still love the idea, I'd love to see the Dev's find a way to integrate it.
