Aiden, Kayla, and Zoe
[NOTE: Swapping Zoe and Kayla's colors, Zoe is now purple, and Kayla will be teal.]
As Aiden rejoined the twins, the other two girls they had been with walked up the stairs. There was a new guy with them now, one he had not seen before.
Ehe.... Um, Hi. Sooo... where am I?
"We don't know," Zoe said quickly. Whether this was a dream or not, although she didn't see how it could possibly be real, she could not allow her sister to consistently best her, even when it came to just meeting new people. Assuming this was real life, and assuming that what that ominous (and just plain creepy) voice said was true, which was absolutely absurd, by the way, then she would need an ally. Her sister and Aiden were charismatic enough to meet new people with rather ease, but she was not that open to strangers. If she would change and lead the new life she wanted, then it would start with this dream, assuming she would remember it once she woke up. "My name's Zoe," she continued, a bit nervous. She extended her hand towards this new boy for a shake, her actions quick and clumsy.
"Relax, Zo." Kayla put a hand on her sister's upper arm. She could tell that Zoe was nervous, and seemed to be desperately trying to make a new friend. The disembodied voice had admittedly caught her off guard and caused her to jump a little, but she tried to play it off and act like it was nothing. She acknowledged Aiden with a nod as he walked up, and then spoke to the group of four as a whole. "I think we head up those stairs," she said. "Regardless of what we all think may be going on, we're not going to find anything out by just standing here. It seemed obvious to her, but she by no means wished to be rude.
"I agree, I was just thinking the same thing myself," Aiden said, shoving his hands in the pockets of the red shorts that he had slept in. He was rather intrigued by this place, and while he payed no mind to the voice's warnings, he was curious as to what this strange chamber, as he would call it, held within.

Kayla and ZoeTwo girls walked up to the twins, and one of them, the one with the blond hair, spoke to them. "I...Don't suppose any of you know why we're here... Do you...?" she said. Zoe, while keeping her gaze fixed on the floor, was the one to actually respond first. "Um, no, we don't." Her words were short and mumbled, quickly spoken as if the conversation were a race. Meanwhile, Kayla had reached over to her own arm and gave herself a slight pinch. Ouch, that actually kind of hurt... she thought. That's it, it hurt, there's no way that this was a dream. It was a simple check, the kind you saw in movies all of the time, but it was apparently legitimate. She looked at the two girls who had just walked up to them. " This doesn't feel like a dream to either of you, does it? She asked. It seemed as if it could indeed be a figment of her imagination, but it was rare for a person to be aware that they were dreaming. She remembered a lesson from school, in which if she was aware that she was dreaming, then she should be able to change some element that was present. She tried to change the scenery around her, picturing rocky mountains and beautiful valleys, but nothing changed. There was no way that this was a dream, yet it seemed so... unrealistic.GM POST The disembodied voice of a man suddenly echoed around the chamber. Fate has chosen seven new guardians to protect the light. The universe has not yet experienced its darkest hour. Dire times will soon be upon us. A colorful glass stairway suddenly appeared out of thin air, leading to a new platform, a second floor, that had not been there before. Aiden, Kayla, and ZoeWhether this was a dream or not, Aiden half expected the people here to be a bit more friendly. He simply shrugged the man's comments off, and was walking toward the twins when a voice sounded. It seemed rather foreboding, but rather than stop in his tracks, he rejoined the girls, who were now talking to two others.

Aiden was scratching his head. This surely didn't feel like a dream, something was just...off about it. Albeit, it was rather impossible that he'd suddenly be floating in a black sky in the middle of nowhere, and the design on the floor was rather comical. He closed his eyes, maybe he could force himself to wake up? He tried to see if he could pull himself out of this slumber, but when he opened his eyes, Aiden found himself still standing on the blue-tinted floor. This time, though, there was a dirty-looking boy stomping his foot on the ground. Aiden stepped forward towards the guy, and then said, Hey, your foot fall asleep or something? What gives?

Yeah, I meant to post again last night myself, but I fell asleep once I started. Also, everyone, once your feet hit the floor, feel free to move around. You can't see or get to any of the other floors yet, much like in the games. For floor designs, see the first post here.

I've been super busy as well, but it looks like things may slow down at least slightly for the next couple of weeks. Despite my pretty consistently jam packed schedule, everything's actually been going pretty great for me.

Aiden, Kayla, and Zoe
As their bodies approached the ground below, Zoe, Aiden, and Kayla were all slowly rotated by an unseen force. As their feet slowly came in contact with the ground, the three of them all glanced at what another. There was a lot to take in between the intricate floor and the bodies that were descending from above, much as they just had.
"Any idea where we are?" Aiden asked, his voice echoing slightly.
Kayla simply shrugged. No... I don't.
Zoe didn't respond at all, but rather just stared at the stained glass-like floor beneath them.

1. Yes, everyone is in the same location after falling "asleep" This mechanic will be explained in greater detail relatively soon, just know for now that you cannot simply wake up.
2. Sure, but you can't move/change your position until your feel touch the floor.
3. Yes, everything that they normally have with them will be included here for the time being. Think of it as the last thing they were wearing before falling asleep.

GM POST As each RPer's characters fall asleep, they wake up in a mysterious place known as the Station of Awakening. Aiden, Kayla, and ZoeAiden was lying sprawled out on the brand new couch in the living room of his apartment, which he and his best friends had just moved into earlier that week. His eyes were fixed on the television, and he hadn't even noticed when the twins stood up. We're both going to bed. Don't stay up too late, you have that big job interview tomorrow morning.It was Kayla. She looked fairly tall as she stood over Aiden, but in actuality she was several inches shorter than he was. Alright, I won't. Thanks Mom.Kayla glared at Aiden, and he couldn't help but give a slight grin. The freedom from being under the control of parents was one of the multiple reasons why they had decided to move across the city. When Kayla responded, her voice was riddled with sarcasm. Ha ha, very funny. Goodnight, punk.Goodnight.Kayla brushed her gorgeous blond hair to the side as she walked out of the room. See you in the morning, Aiden.Zoe was so soft-spoken that Aiden could hear her just well enough to know what she was saying. Night, Zoe.Zoe left the room even more quietly than the words that had left her mouth. Deciding to take Kayla's advice, he decided to go to bed after only a short while. He got up off the sofa and headed over to his room, which was directly across the hall from the one that the girls shared. After closing his door, he climbed into his bed and drifted off to sleep. Aiden's eye's slowly drifted open. Everything around him was black, save for a faint, illuminating light above. It was enough for him to see, though. He felt weightless, in fact, he was weightless. Much to his confusion, Aiden was floating. Upon turning his head, his eyes connected with that of Zoe. They were filled with worry, and he wanted to tell her that she shouldn't be afraid, that they were okay, but he couldn't do that. He tell her that when he wasn't sure what was going on himself. He then looked over to his right. There, also floating in the air, was Kayla. She looked at him, but didn't speak. He tried to turn over, to see what was beneath him, but it seemed as if he didn't have full control his body, as he couldn't turn it over. It was apparent, though, that the three of them were slowly descending.

RP will begin tonight. I have updated the first post here with the RP's first world. I have also updated the heartless files in the profiles section to feature the shadow. I am currently having issues with image url's, so if someone would like to copy the url for a Shadow and paste it (just the url, not the image) here, I would be rather grateful. Also, the RP will no longer be starting in California like originally thought, so I can certainly change your character's bio if you need. Also, for current RP'ers, if you would like to add a new character into the RP at any point, message me and we can try to figure something out.
As a last little note, all heartless spawns for the time being are GM controlled. Thanks.

Personality: The Easy-going type John tends to a more relaxed approach to serious situations, trying his best to avoid them entirely if possible. This can make him come off as an irresponsible slacker which........is pretty accurate actually.
Battle Technique: John fight taking a defensive approach, with a high amount of endurance and durability he prefers to incorporate his Aero spells to out last his opponent and strike once an opening is revealed.
Hometown: Bradford, England
Bio: John comes from a wealthy family, naturally he grew up entitled and stuck up like every other rich kid. This had worried his father who planned for John to one day take over the family business. So he sent John away to go live with his comparatively less fortunate aunt and uncle. Where he learned more wholesome values and ego was brought back down to earth.
John's father had recently called him back home as he has come of age and his father wishes him to begin learning the trade. Although John knew he couldn't avoid this his father had been planning this since he was born. John asked his father for a break after he finished his last semester. Begrudgingly his father allowed him to go where he wanted for only a few months. John chose to spend his vacation in California trying to get as far away from home as he could.
Miscellaneous: John is an active smoker, usually keeping a pack of cigarettes and matches in the inner pocket of his jacket.

Personality: Enerxia is mostly jesting when she speaks, cracking jokes every so often. She tends to be less than truthful, even doing things to mislead others, only telling the truth is she fully trusts a person, even going so far as to give a fake name at times.
Battle Technique: Enerxia relies on speed, and speed only, at least most of the time. Her entire strategy is based around getting close to her opponent, slashing into them a few times, and getting out without getting hit, especially if deception can be used. To compliment this, she uses the spell Dash.
Hometown: Columbus, Mississippi.
Bio: Enerxia's life was normal, always was. She lived in a small town in Mississippi, her father worked for a large-ish company, and her mother worked at a local restaurant chain. Due to this, Enerxia spent most of her time with her friends and at school. [Because as someone who's been to this town, there's literally nothing to do there. I'm not even kidding.] Throughout her life there, she seemed to pick up a...Talent, you could say. She was a very good liar, which, admittedly, wasn't a GOOD talent, but it was useful at times.
Just about a month ago, Enerxia and the rest of her family moved to San Fransisco, California, due to her father's work. She transferred to one of the schools, and is currently attending high-school there, and attempting to make friends. Though, she's only made one she would actually consider a friend, so far.
Miscellaneous: Keyblade will flash over with a bright purple color whenever she lies, which is known as a tell. I will use some sort of text editor, be it a text corrupter, or bolding out certain words, to point out when the blade flashes.

Battle Technique: Will generally follow close to an ally, using a combination of the Water and Thunder spells to quickly unleash attacks against an enemy, will attempt to capitalize on the movements of her enemies, combined with her own.

Bio: Jade grew up in San Francisco, and so far she's lived a normal life. Her Father and Mother own a small cafe, which has done well in providing for them. She didn't really have many friends in school, just sticking to her small little group. Yet, recently, a new student and her have gotten fairly close, generally sticking together.

Name: Daylin Hakima
Age: 20
Personality: He is blunt and to the point, and very determined. If he sets his mind to something, he won't let anything stop him. He can be narrow-minded at times, and often fails to see the bigger picture. His anger can get the best of him, but he tries to control it, and comes off as a rather calm individual.
Battle Technique: Daylin is brutal and efficient, but he lacks defense. He throws himself head first into a fight with no regard for his own safety, often fueled by rage that makes him forget he's mortal and able to be killed. He does not care if he walks out or if he's carried out on a stretcher, as long as he beat the shiit out of whoever he went off on.
What he lacks in defense he makes up in surplus with offense and stamina. He is as strong as a bull, and just about as stubborn as one.
Spells known include Earth.
Hometown: Brooklyn, New York.
Bio: Daylin grew up in the slums of Brooklyn, with his brother Tylan and his Mom. His Dad walked out on them when he was little, and his Mom barely provided for them working two jobs. Unlike most people, life became easier for him and his brother when they entered High School. They both held jobs so money was no longer tight, and Daylin joined the Weight Lifting team. He was stockier than his brother, and could lift more than anyone else in the class.
When they graduated, Daylin decided he needed a break. He packed his bags and went to California for vacation, telling his family he'd be back soon. The vacation turned into a month, then four months, then a year. He eventually just shipped the rest of his stuff there, and lives in a cheap apartment complex. He works part time at an auto shop to get by.
Miscellaneous: Daylin has a severe anger disorder. He has been taking medication for the past two years, and has had little to no outbursts.
