Quest Starters(Idea)

(1/1)

Kuhns:
Okay, last one for a while, I swear. xD

(I'll just use an example to get my idea across):

So, your walking around and--in the typical fashion--walk into some tall grass. The screen freaks out and you get into a fight with...an Eevee. Nothing different--except for all the Eevee fanatics out there--it wont let you catch it. It's also odd because you know you're in an area that isn't very Eevee friendly. You eventually knock it unconscious (it was harder to beat than other Pokemon of that level) and then you get a message. The Eevee dropped something: a collar with a tag on it:

"[Insert Name Here]
 [Insert city/Town/Route Here]
 [Insert Owner's Name Here]"

This starts the Quest portion. You can deny the quest and leave the Eevee where it is/let it limp off, or you can--if you have the space--add it to your party and find its owner. The usual blah, blah, blah happens, and then you get your reward.

Reminder: The above was just an example, but the premises stands. Quest starters from dropped items?

Mr_Dark:
not bad, it's a start. just needs to be a bit more mmo like.

Alais:
I love this idea, people will be shocked and surprised to find something like an eevee in the grass and painstakingly lower its health to catch it, only to find it's owned already :p sounds like something that would actually happen. I'm not quite sure what isn't MMO about it, maybe dark will elaborate.

Kuhns:
Lol, thanks.

If you want me to expand on the "Eevee's Owner" idea, just tell me. ;) And tell me more about it's MMO-lacking...ness. ;)
