Maybe its because since we aren't exactly in the same location or something, we all have... different views about somethings... Theirs just happened to be backwards book writing/reading...

I had this Japanese manga that actually explained why it is read from right to left.  But that was so long ago, I doubt we still have it around here.

There is an explanation as to why they read from right to left in every issue of Shonen Jump, Shojo Beat, Yen Plus, and MixxZine.
 
I honestly dont remember why because I hadnt touched an actual manga in almost 2 years. But i dont think it's all that important.
 
Hebrew, Arabic, and a few other languages are read right to left as well.
 
Breaking News:     Egyptian can be read either way.

Egyptian thing? As I remember, in china, writing is made from left to right the first line, then right to left the second, and left to right the third, and so on. I'm guessing it's the same, or at least similar, in japan. compared to the rest of the world, the english language is written fairly simply, directionally speaking.
