Top down shooter; like Raiden or Galaga. But much harder
The spinoff versions of the games are decimals, as well as 3 and 9 I believe are different as well, as they have a form of multiplayer

All touhou games except for the fighters have it so that 1 hit= death, making them extremely hard.
They all are featured in the same universe, and usually make referrences to eachother ingame.
They have a very dedicated fanbase to flesh out the characters even more, making very unique people with different personalities and fighting styles.

Some make songs, others, mangas, sometimes even animes around the characters. The most popular ones are usually the main characters, and the final stage/ bonus(extra) stage bosses that are usually mentioned.

and Silver... I know.... Touhou 1 was LIKE Breakout, but with major danmaku differences,

Ball doesn`t disappear
ball Hurts if you let it hit you (DUH! >.<)
Some levels have bosses that shoot you.
It had fairly good music...

what did i do? I think im missing something. All i was doing was adding in what the first one was like, since i forgot to in my extremely thourough explanation of touhou

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
