Eh...
I also played Resistance 2 for the remainder of the day, and splitscreen caused a lot of laughing hysterically, rolling on the floor, and screaming "I give myself ammo!", "HEALY BOMB!" and "Spinny gun attack!"

finding out what type the cloud is would be a good start, as most cloud formations are only a certain way at a specific altitude range

...What he said. Angel-hair like clouds tend to be higher-up, and the colossal ones are normally low to the ground.
