Im no professional and have very little knowledge about maps.. but it doesnt look all that bad.

you have any more?
Am I a ghost or a man? Or a man-ghost offspring that come from mi father's inexplicable penetration of mi mother's ghostly woman parts? Or am I a child imitating a man's ability to change into a ghostly form in order to preserve mi appellation?

Nice maps. But, they look pretty regimented. This works fine for a big city (Like blocks in NYC) but in a more rural town, you need to go for a different look.

I agree with declan-- looks great it would be good having a city with such buildings like yours (the structure of the buildings etc) all looks like a high tech city hehe very organized and yeah
i would suggest to work on details with the cave entrance. Both entrances are pretty much the same--- would be good if you made it look a bit different.
example: you see the entrance (the door-like entrance) on top of it theres a huge rock... on both-- i would suggest remove one of those rocks from one of the cave entrances and make one of the cave entrances a bit bigger
also, the buildings have a lot of space between each other i would suggest having them a bit closer
you can definitely fit more buildings if you do that

but over all, nice job on the maps.

these maps look like you took tiles from different games, or people, no offense

Pokemon Essentials is the best program to use to make Pokemon based maps. You can google for it. You need to have RPG Maker XP installed already to use it as well.

Decent maps, but they're far from perfect.
-------------------------------------------------------------
1: For starters, you're bit-mixing, some building/tiles are R/S/E Style and others are FR/LG style. Thats called bit-mixing, E.G. You wouldn't put a 8-bit style sprite next to a 16-bit style sprite. Same concept.
2: Save the file in a .png or .gif file, .jpeg files distort the picture, and make the picture fuzzy.
3: Reference to the games  for better building placement, because some thing's look like they shouldn't be there. E.G. the shrine on the beach, and the dock that comes onto the land.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So just work on it more, your getting there.
