They went to see who was here, bu whatthey found was an Omnicide Army coming towards them.
Even if one person steales waht you deserve, your reward will be even better than the last if you head down the right path.

Calx, reaches for a book from under his arm and opens it.

"Therefore be out of hope, of question, of doubt;
Be certain, nothing truer; 'tis no jest..."
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Stefan rested his head in his hand.
"You know, I think this is probably a bad idea. Oh well, can't go back now."
Arriving at Anurak's front door, he looked back at Calx.
"Buddy, if you want to meet Anurak then zip it. No Shakespeare until he's convinced this isn't a reason to excommunicate me."
Astrid moved her head closer to Stefan's, whispering into his ear.
"He wouldn't... actually do that, would he?"
"No, but in comparison to what he WOULD do, that might be a bit more desirable of a punishment."

Calx closes the book.
"Well, this is going to be interesting."

"Alright... Here we go."
Stefan knocked on the green wooden door. A few moments later, the sound of heavy footfalls could be heard approaching the door.
The door opened inward, revealing a particularly tall and freakishly muscular man of Thai descent.
"Stefan."
"Hi, Anurak. This is Astrid."
"You brought the sniper."
"Uh... yeah. See, it just so happened that we were in the neighborhood, and-"
Stefan's sentence was interrupted by Anurak's fist making contact with his skull. The pain was unbearable, worse than any bullet or sword he'd felt during Omnicide. He was home.

His head still tilted to the right in reaction to the strike, Stefan stumbled backwards, managing an "Ouch," before collapsing on the ground, unconscious. Anurak turned his gaze to the other three.
"Well, come in, then. Bring him."
He tilted his head at Stefan before returning inside.

"Very interesting."
Calx slings Stefan over his shoulder and beckons Nex to follow, entering the house.

Anurak's home was rather archaic, with walls and furniture that looked as if they'd come from the sixteenth century. He sat down in a polished wooden chair, motioning for the rest of them to take a seat across from them.
"Now would any of you care to explain what exactly Stefan is doing with a sniper rifle on his person?"

"Well, theres also two berettas, a knife, and some ammo as well.
But those are all mine." He rubs the back of his head.
"At least, I'm pretty sure they are, unless he stole them from me."

Anurak rubbed his forehead.
"I guess that makes sense."
He reached to a nearby table and picked up a glass of wine, fixing his gaze on the amber liquid.
"Stefan generally doesn't completely disregard an order. Explain to me why he decided to bring you here."

"Well, there was omnicide, then helping him protect Astrid-thats your name right? Astrid?" he asks looking over that the timid girl,"Then there was that base that we left from, then blowing up the car, and hunting for food, and then there was him not listening and going into the basement, then the checkpoint, and the cabin, and the fog, and the Slender Man, and now we're here.
Fun fact: he doesn't like explosions. No clue why, if it weren't for them, we would probably be dead."

Anurak put the glass on the table, leaning forward and staring into Calx's eyes.
"Really, now? What did he do?"

"Oh? do you mean the basement? Well, I told him to go and wait for me, and he ended up going into the basement of a place he shouldn't have gone into the basement of, causing him and...I can't seem to get it into my head-Astrid? to sit on a landmines, and cause both of us to do alot of extra work for this guy I know, though I really don't like that guy, and after that was done we left that city."

Anurak raised an eyebrow. It was like trying to have a conversation with a rock.
"How... how did explosions save you, then?"

Calx took a deep breath.
"Well, there was this one checkpoint that we needed to get past, so I blew up a car as a distraction. Worked quite well."

"Naturally. Stefan has a bit of an affinity for things that don't explode."
Anurak's demeanor suddenly changed, his voice coming out like ice.
"You're a mass murderer."
