The game was over. Dakentio teleported back to the hallway of the mess hall and ate some meat and carrots. Afterwards, he went back into the hallway and slept standing.
Even if one person steales waht you deserve, your reward will be even better than the last if you head down the right path.

Rex was firing his shots one-handed.

Stefan caught the large coin Rex threw to him. He considered how many kills he'd gotten in the past, and how many of them had been from Rex's team.
He pocketed the token. It might come in handy later, but for now, he needed that team for cannon fodder.

Demos approached Rex after reading the note.
"Are you stupid?! You'll get us all killed! If you payed any attention at all, you'll have noticed that they monitor everything. If all of us get together at once, don't you think that will be a red flag for them? We need another way. I don't want to die any more than you do, Rex."

Stefan was hungry. Despite what people think of Omnicide's food, the pizza wasn't half bad. Leaving Astrid to her new weapon, he went to the cafeteria, ignoring the scratching coming from Calx's room on the way.

Demos was yelling at Rex. Loud. Fortunately, Stefan still had the remote, and the higher TV was still intact.
Grabbing a slice of pizza, he clicked on the TV, changing to the reggae channel and blasting "Why Can't We Be Friends" out of the speakers.

What the hell are you talking about pip squeak! I gave him a look that said "Shut up" I pushed him, and pushed a note into his pocket.
Don't worry, I have every thing figured out. Every night at a certain time the security system resets, giving you 10 minutes to do any thing...
Get the f*ck away from me!
I winked at him and sat down...

Realizing he was annoying himself with the music, he clicked the *channel up* button once, changing to the rock channel, where "Another One Bites the Dust" was playing.

T'was a shame there was nobody to beat the christ out of at the moment.

Calx was prone on a rooftop. Waiting.
Waiting for what?
He looks through the scope of the rifle in front of him, its pointed at the building across from him.
A man in a suit with a white fedora walks onto the roof top.
He dies
He focuses his aim, and a glint catches his eye. He zooms in on it, and focuses. Its a girl. She's saying something,
"Im sorry"

Calx wakes up.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Don't do it Rex.
There is no reset. It was a rumor started by somebody long ago.
Your confidence will be your downfall...

Demos' dad was a gunsmith. Demos always liked the P226. He knew how to take one apart, find a problem, fix it, and put it back together in 2 minutes. He knew the gun inside and out. That's why when he disassembled his to scan for problems he was surprised to find something that shouldn't belong. A tiny chip, hardly larger than the point of a pin. He barely noticed it at first, but it kept aggravating him. He knew it must have some importance. He removed it, after determining that that must be what stops the gun from firing outside of battles and the range. He didn't want to test it, though. He reassembled the gun as if nothing ever happened. This was a great breakthrough. If he could do this to all guns...
They could get out, or at least have a better chance. He had to tell somebody. He ripped a page out of somebody's notebook. With a ballpoint pen, he wrote:

I found a chip in my gun. I'm betting that that was what stops it from shooting anywhere but at the range and during battles. If we could find these chips on other guns, we might be able to escape this hell hole. Ignore what Rex says. I know there is no reset. My friend hacked the system. He lost his life for it, and I don't want any more people dying after what he did. Help me. Don't go to Rex's meeting if you value your life. Trust me. I would die for our freedom.
~Incognito

Demos found Stefan. He tripped, or rather pretended to, stuffing the note into Stefan's pocket on the way down. He motioned his head towards Stefan's pocket from the ground before getting up and getting some food, if he could call it that.

Stefan felt the paper getting pushed into his pocket. More notes.
"Watch your step. You don't want to end up looking like a wrestler, do you? They've got some messed up faces."
