Ancient Rome, the Pokemon story (OOCC)
« on: March 02, 2011, 01:53:01 PM »
Alrighty then my little chumps.

Thsis Roleplay is set in ancient rome except Humans have never existed. Pokemon have and always will rule the earth.

But this Roleplay is set in a particular area of Rome. The Coloseum.

The emperor of Rome, Batman Neras (Mewtwo) is in control of all gladiatoral fights in the Colloseum.
He has ordered his Praetorians to find and capture slaves to sell to slave traders who will train them for the brutality, and glory of the arena.

Except this isnt just your regular gladiator arena. There are several types of Gladiator fights depending on what Neras wishes to see.

Gladiators may have to fight eachother. They may have to fight with each other. They may have to fight on land, or they may have to fight in a sea battle and take over the other teams ship. What ever kind of battle Neras wishes to take place. It will take place, no matter what.

Ok thats the end of the Introduction.

The roleplay is like any other. Roleplayers can decide when they battle against who they want to battle, including NPC's . Very rarely I will do Player Vs Player matches, but once again very rarely since one Rper will turn out dead, unless they are allowed to live (Thumbs up, Thumbs down)

So for example

This Week Friday:               Ramparados (Mr_Rex)

                                                Vs.

                                         Electrive (Jerry)

                                   Submission or death

                                                Ice Battle
Ice Pokemon will freeze the arena floor as well as placing blocks of ice as cover in around the arena.
To win one team must either: Kill their opponents or make them submit

Then again that is a mere example. Very rarely I will do Player Vs Player matches, but once again very rarely since one Rper will turn out dead.

I myself play Emperor Neras. I do not take much part in the roleplay apart from Manage the Gladiators to decide which Rp are to fight next. Although you cannot see I will roll dice on it so you will just have to trust me  8)

There are No swords or weaponry of any kind but players can wear armour if they wish too. A Shield is also optional.
I am limiting each pokemon to one special move each because Gladiatorial fights are close quarter fights, not long range sniping.

If you wish to join the roleplay, which I really hope you do please send me your Profile Skeleton via PM.

Same rules apply:

No modding.

Players can only be killed if they wish to be, unless its a PVP match where Neras decides their fate. (If you are killed you can apply for a new Rp Character.)

No using majour swear words, such as F***, S*** etc.

Crap and all minor cusses are acceptable. After all we talking freaking gladiators!

Sure this Rp may be a little rough around the edges, but I just wanted to try something new and see if it works out 8)

Seems okay of an RP. I'll not join, not now anyway. Got a lot of stuff to do and monitoring all those RPs + actively participating in 2 is already time consuming.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Well, I can't approve or decline an OOCC ;)

But yes, I get the idea. Another thing that you might consider is that given all the RPs now, you would have less members active on certain RPs and more on others... so, yours might be inactive for sometime and when another RP gets 'exhausted', then yours might be the next to be active.

What about legends? Im not sayin' that I want to be one, just for future refference.
Even if one person steales waht you deserve, your reward will be even better than the last if you head down the right path.

It seems that way at the moment. I may as well delete the Rp and save it for when others become bored of the other Rp's in the future
