I have accidentally sparked a movement of people joining Magistream, and am getting lots of PMs... So I made a go to thread. If you have any questions about anything Magistream come here and ask... Dragon Cave and any other Adoptable site are welcome here... but i only know enough to help on Dragon Cave and Magistream...

After you hatch the eggs, can you get more than 4 creatures in your keep? or is there a box or something to keep spares?

when one of your eggs hatches you can get one to replace it. You can only carry 4 eggs at a time, but as many hatchlings as you have. You can make tabs to help orginize your creature. On you Keep page look above your creatures, you should see a tab named Main. You should see a small +, click this to make a new tab. You can make as many tabs as you want...

A chicken dragon? hmm.. Moltres is a flying chicken. I dun like. Anyway, I have a dragon that's really big, and it's colour red/black, I have no idea how I got it.

EDIT: You might want to change the topic name to adoptables so we can talk about the whole genre, not specifically Magistream or Dragons Cave.
