What I love is how so many people have unusual favourites. It's not just Charizard, Pikachu, Scizor etc.

At first I didn't have a favorite but during the "pokemon advanced"  opening song I fell in love with Absol! I dont know why. I really hope I can have one as my first pokemon and train him to greatness.

I've always favored Nidoking and Kadabra ever since watching the original series tv show. Plus, they just look awesome. I've had them both (Alakazam in the games) as part of my primary team in every pokemon game I've ever played/owned.

Alakazam is pretty nice and a good poke however... in console games, he is more fragile than Nidoking. =/ But same here as well, I like Alaz.

Vulpix of course! I first saw it it when I was 6 and it was the first pokemon's name I could ever say. Ahhhhh...... My very fav. ever, but I like kirlia, absol, eeveelutons as well.

Quilava!

Why? Fire pokemon are all awesome looking but quilava has to take the cake imo.  I've also never chose another starter in G/S and Soul Silver.  Didn't evolve mine in soul silver until he hit lvl 50.  Plus the sprite in the new game's super cool lookin.
