Applying for pixel artist. (if it's still availible)
« on: September 21, 2011, 12:47:35 PM »
This will hurt my chances a lot but I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WHAT-SO-EVER except my drawing skills which you are judging (i hope)  :-[

Sorry but my drawing aren't loading, they should come up once I reinstall my scanner.  ::)
Oh and these are completely hand drawn, ones with a base will be marked (if possible).

Pixel artist is always available. Just expirement around in paint with the pencil tool fully zoomed it, it's easy to adapt to. Also, try scanning one of your drawings to paint and trace over it with the pencil, it'll help.

Will I still be able to get a job if i have no experience?

Well you have to post some pixel work for approval, then the team would give you their feedback and you'll see if you get the job or not :)

People with drawing skills usually have pixelart skills, just learn the rules of pixelling and then you'll be a pro pixelartist :3

I can teach all the rules.

Although most of the pixelart we need is for making Tilesets, Trainer Over World sprites and Pokémon over world sprites.

Claiming that someone else's marriage is against your religion is like being angry at someone for eating a doughnut because you're on a diet.

Experience is not really an issue. The issue is skill and will to provide good work :)
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

Having said that, go do some pixel art then reapply. There's no point in applying for a position if you have no proof you can do it.
