I looked back at Shark's corpse.

Houdoom, use dig, make a grave for Shark.

Houndoom did as ordered, and I picked up Shark's body and placed it in the grave. Houndoom covered him up. Some of Skark's blood got on my clothes.

I'm getting some sleep, been through a lot.

I....my first pokemon was a Pichu...

Calvin released the Pichu

it looked confused "Pi...pichu?"

Calvin knelt down "ummm...listen...you trainer..."

Pichu's eyes widened in horror at the news before screaming at the top of its lungs, falling to its knees in sorrow

Calvin scooped it up and cradled it "shhh...I know....Its hard to lose someone you love...its so hard....

I stared at the pichu for a moment, watching it wail in grief. Then I reached down and released Pikachu.
"Pikachu...See if you can comfort Pichu..."

Pichu went catatonic after the shock...it was shivering in Calvin's arms, staring in the distance

"listen...Pichu and I are heading for a nap...I think it'll do us both a bit of good"

I couldn't sleep at all, I just laid there angry.

I can't believe this has happened. That monster. I will destroy her, I will put an end to this.

I started to shake and cry, frustrated because I knew I was powerless to the situation.

Damn it! Why did it have to be us?

As Calvin laid down, he petted Pichu as it shivered...just like his pikachu the night everyone died all those years ago...the pokemon fell asleep, tears staining the old man's shirt as he drifted off as well

I watched the pichu as it lay down with Calvin. Things had been going so well... But we couldn't afford to break down. We all need to be strong...
"Okay, who are the newbies?"

My name is James, whats yours?

I hesitated. I don't particularly like giving out my name all the time like this. But if I don't he'll probably pester me a bunch....
"...Ayara."

I got up, tired of being on the ground, tired of being in this place in general. I went over to the bush, it had a few branches left, and pulled them off, then proceeded to uproot the rest of it. I struggled with it for a bit, and finally gave up.

What am I even thinking? This whole mess is messing with my brain.

The image of Shark's body kept flashing in my head, each one making me lurch, making me want to cry, but I fought back the tears until it hurt. I looked at the empty bush again. I grabbed it, and yelled.

THIS IS FOR MAKING OUR LIVES A REAL HELL, LUCY!!!

The bush gave, and came out of the ground, knocking me on my backside. I walked to the fire, dropped the branches, and the root itself, into  it, giving it more fuel. I didn't care if the others had heard me. I looked at my hands, they were bleeding, and I just stared at them, angry and scared. I was scared...

You know, if we wern't in hell I would make joke about that.
James got up and started pacing.
We have to do something to make sure if you guys go again that Lucy wont come back and destroy the fire somehow and kill who ever stays behind.

I think this time....we are all going...and take as much fire as we can

The old man looked deep in thought

I have the key...so we can head to the orphanage and retrieve what we need...I am going for the big shabang now...I've let to many people die because of my niece already....I am leaving soon, if you want to stay I wouldn't blame you, but we are either going to end this...or die trying
