Brutality?
I haven't watched it, but I really want to. Wat do you mean by brutal? Nothing will stop me from watching, I just wanna know. Did it chase you away, being so brutal?

I haven't watched it, but I've read it. Good series, somewhat depressing at times, and a bit confusing, to tell the truth. But completely awesome. :D

At the moment I'm at Season 2
The game goes mainly about one guy, who happens to get involved in an operation of the rebellion and decides to try changing Japan, which has been taken over by britannians, back into a seperate country again. He's a very good chess player and thus a very invaluable strategist in the war for Japan that will go on.

Claiming that someone else's marriage is against your religion is like being angry at someone for eating a doughnut because you're on a diet.

 Well I watched Code Geass, don't know anything about a Gease though... is it good? Anyways, jokes aside I liked it. I watched it after Death Note, and it was an O.K. watch, but nothing really special. I don't see how the ending was brutal though. What threw me off for which I only gave it a 7/10 is that during Season 2 the story took a 180 turn only to turn back at the end again.

Yeah, I didn't think the second season was as good, but still enjoyable, although not as good as death note in my opinion

;_;
I like death note, not because of the awesomness, but because of the many running gags in the series.
Code Geass is boss, though. So is Higurashi, but that's a different matter.
