Day/Night Evolutions and Time Zones

(1/1)

Tohero212:
I don't know if this has been mentioned or already thought of. (I checked in the search bar and nothing like this came up.) But how will night and day evolutions work for international players? Like the server for PU is going to be in the US right? So doesn't that mean the ingame time will have the time zone for the US? Meaning if a international player wanted to train an Eevee into a Umbreon but since the server time would be in the US, wouldn't they get an Espeon instead because of the time gap? (I don't know if this makes any sense. But I hope you understand what I am trying to say.)

Skilganon:
No idea if this has been dealt with yet, but in my opinion the game should have an in-game time that will be the same for all clients granted someone in a large time gap would have to go online at like an extremely odd time to get specific pokemon, but sure if you really want it its worth it =p

SnowWolfAlpha:
Since it's being developed in Europe it will probably follow that timezone.

Mr_Dark:
We discussed this and in-game time will not be the same as real-life time. So there is no need for timezones.

Kamaran:
Timezone; Each day will be splitted in 4. Mean that on one real life day you will have 4 ingame days. these days will consist of either;

morning 2 hours / day 2 hours / night 2 hours (6)

or

day 3 hours / night 3 hours (6)

*4 = 24.

This way everyone will have the entire day to play ^^
