Yeah, same here, seeing as it evolves into Charizard. Even though I don't want to pick the same thing everyone else is, I do want a Charizard.

Yea plus the way the games are set up (not sure how pu goes) you can't get any fire pokemon till late in the game so it would make more sense to get the fire type early. And thanks I think is a good signature too

I'm picking Cyndaquil because Quilava's a badass.  Sure Typhlosion's cool lookin but he doesn't hold a candle (pardon the fire pokemon pun) to how awesome Quilava looks!  Plus fire's my favorite type. Expect a couple fire types on my team ;)

Totodile. From what I remember, he's relatively stong early on in the game and only  gets stronger

i allways choose grass type pokemon as my starter but i admit that they are weaker than the other two starters most of the time... and alot of water types can learn ice moves which are strong against grass. :( poor grass types.
