I would have to go with torchic. I love the fighting/fire type that can beat almost anything in the game.

I'll go with Piplup. I would go with Chikorita or Cyndaquil but Piplup just kinda rubbed off on me..

They are all great pokemon to start with. With good training (battles to increase the pokemon's level) you'll soon see you chose a great pokemon. I like charmander, thats the one i want to start with. I will really enjoy evolving it into charmilion then the mighty charizard. Fire type pokemon are great. Well they are all great, they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
